On October 7, 2024 the Minnesota Commerce Commission entered a Consent Order as to Casey’s Retail Company regarding its allegation that Casey’s sold gasoline below the State minimum from February 23, 2024 to March 7, 2024. Casey’s stated that it believes that its actions comply with the statute but agreed to an informal disposition. It was ordered that Casey’s pay a civil penalty in the amount of $10,000 to the State of Mlnnesota, $5,000 of the penalty was stayed, the remaining $5000 paid at the signing of the Consent.
