Do not trust this company. SCAM!!! I would give 0 but that choice is not an option.

I have a letter from 'CBE Group' that claims I have an outstanding balance from ***** I have not used **** since 2019 and my records show that there is no balance due. This most likely is a scam of some sort. The ** Number says ***********, ref number 0051. They would like me to send $111.04 to THE CBE GROUP, **** , ************************** ************************************.

I received an official letter claiming that I had an account with a wireless provider and had an outstanding debt of $2,726. I called the wireless provider directly and they verified that no debt was accrued. DO NOT PAY anything to this suspicious and unscrupulous company without checking first with the company that they CLAIM to be representing.

I received a letter from the u.s. department of treasury that my tax refund had been garnished for a delinquent debt. The only information they gave me was to contact CBE Group for information on the debt. When I contacted them they didn't have the I formation and told me that they would have to contact their customer that is GSA about an accident with one of their vehicles. They had the wrong address and I had never received notification of a debt or have been involved in an accident with a government vehicle.

They keep sending me letters, looking for my ex husband. Spoke to them last month and they stated they would remove my name. They apparently lied. Told them been divorced for 8 years too. They need to stop sending me letter looking for him.

This company has been calling me every day. When I ask what the call is about they just state "Business Matters". With all the scams going around, I will not be confirming any information if I do not know what the matter is exactly. If this is for collections, I have paid for any of the ones I had. Usually, companies will mail out notices if it's in collections, but nothing has been received on my end.

I had a bill with the Navy which was resolved, but this company is conducting fraud debt collections. They call asking for your full SSN, and other personal identifiable identification which is not required to cover a debt. They are claiming they work for the ********** of ********* This is a total scam to collet debts which are already closed and predatory. I called the company behind the scene and they didn't know anything about this practice. Something needs to be done about this company. I will also be filing a complaint with my congressman about the government activity that hired this folks. 100% unacceptable!

Another ******* Communications debt scam by this collection agency (CBE) according to what I have read here. The amounts from other complaints are typically small and believable to an unsuspecting recipient so, this is apparently a revenue source for them that is seldom questioned.They are trying to collect $36.00 from me and I do not owe it according to *******/Spectrum.The account they listed in their collection letter to me was not even in the correct format. Don't be fooled by this scam.

I dont believe this business. I have been scammed and I had my identity stolen. I dont trust people after going through so much h*** I reported this identity theft and it got me nowhere. My credit score dropped almost 300 points. Just to think that I worked hard and delayed any gratification and paid taxes on money that was stolen out of my banking account without any knowledge. The credit union did nothing to help. I am still paying for damages done and still trying to rebuild my credit score which was 810 before this nightmare. I blame the government and Star federal credit union for their incompetent management of the banking system. This has destroyed my health and my finances.
