I reported my AC not working on 5/12 to AHS (American Home Shield). Contractor (Chronister Enterprises LLC) came 5/17 and indicated needed to order a part to replace my control panel. No timeline given so I called on 5/19 & was told by Chronister the part would arrive 5/22 and they (Chronister) would call set up repair. No contact so called them 5/25 and told part was delayed but is now in and would be picked up 5/26 & they would call to set up repair. No call. Called AHS 5/26 & assured repair would occur ideally that weekend. Called Chronister 5/27 multiple times (vmail, then answer). Told on call tech would call back that day in the afternoon. No call. Called multiple times 5/30, left messages. No answer so called AHS again she assured they were going to call me. No call. Called them 5/31, left vmail and no callback. Called AHS assured they called Chronister who said they have the part and repair will be on 6/2 and Chronister will call to schedule. NO CALL. Called AHS 6/1, they advised Chronister does not have the correct part and no timeline for repair but that Chronister will call me- they have never called me as promised, As of the writing of this complaint, I have made many attempts to get a response from Chronister for this claim- neither Chronister nor American Home Shield follow through or communicate. It is 90 degrees in my home for the last several days. I am experiencing a total lack of action, follow up, communication or resolution after 20+ days. Every interaction with Chronister results in unanswered calls, if I am able to leave a vmail no one calls me back, when I speak with someone I am given a new timeline and promised a call back which never comes. Is there anything you can do to move this fwd after 20 days of waiting for resolution?

I have a home warranty plan through AMERICAN HOME SHIELD and I know they can be hard to deal with sometimes. AHS assigned CHRONISTER ENTERPRISES LLC out of ************, ** to repair my furnace/**. I called in to AHS on June 20th for the repair. The contractor came out June 27th to assess the problem. It was determined that I needed a new furnace and **. Furnace ordered and was installed by contractor around July 6-7th. However, he could not get the unit to operate. Ordered a new control board and installed it three days later. Bypassed the electrical shut-off on the ** and got it to run. That fix lasted a few hours. The system was all frozen up the next morning. He apparently hadn't wired everything up correctly. The contractor came out again four days later and installed another new control board and fixed the wiring problem. To date the ** condensing unit does shut off correctly and doesn't cause the system to freeze up. To date the contractor has not completed the work on the furnace or the electrical bypass on the **. Just today I hired a different contractor to check over my system and he is very concerned that the bypass put on the electrical outlet of the ** could cause a fire. He also told me that the ** unit that CHRONISTER ordered was the wrong size. I currently have a 3 ton unit and a 2.5 ton unit was ordered. CHRONISTER also told me just this morning, that it would be another 2 weeks before they could install the ** parts which they now have in stock. That will make it 8 weeks that I have been dealing with this repair. I have been without ** for most of this time through some of the hottest days of the summer. I am really ready to end my association with CHRONISTER ENTERPRISES LLC and hire my own local contractor to get my repairs completed.

See the attached uploads. I would like to add to this. This ac has been serviced by ******* of ****** yearly and had no preexisting issues. There are service records to prove this. Chronister has lied several times and appears to be in retalation to multiple complaints made against them. They also appear to be working with ******************** company to prevent people from using thier home warranty as per the contract agreement.
