            I sought a teen support group and ABA therapy for my daughter who id in the Autism spectrum. We were approved and told.we would be able to attend 2 groups weekly. I was told I had to pay $480 up front for services, services of which we ended up not recieving in its entirty and certaimly not to any respectable or meaningful quality. One and a half months later, we were told ***** far exceeded the program and did not qualify fot the services which we were charged. She was discharged from services. My co pay was $35. I have gone over all the insurance forms. Dates of services and they do not match. We have been charged. Insurance billed for services that were never provided that our daughter ***** did not attend. We are being charged for family and individual assessments that we filled out on our own!! We are now being charged $342. I have been very clear that I am not paying for any other additional bill and I have also asked to be reimbursed for the $480 of upfront costs paid, but decided to let it go. I have been a clinical social worker for 20 years and am truly disheartened and disgusted by the lack of ethics, blantant insurance fraud and poor services. I have had many conversations with the staff about my concerns for billing and the program and have not been recieved. My next step will be contacting DHHS licensing department. I have been very upfront with my concerns over billing and services and this last bill that I recieved which is absolutely false is my last straw. I have now spoken with four additional families who have had similar concerns. I feel betrayed, lied to and financially taken advantage of.

            Our response is attached. Every effort has been made to address this in light of limitations that protect information through HIPAA. All general procedures outlined in the response have been followed with this specific case and follow up with the person who has filed the complaint will also be completed.

            I am rejecting this response because: I was never provided with discharge papers, I was indeed billed for services that did NOT OCCUR. I WAS BILLED FOR ASSESSMENTS THAT AI FILLED OUT AS A PARENT. I PAID MORE IN THE CO PAYS THAN WHAT WAS REQUIRED AND WAS STILL BILLED IN ADDITION.
