Ad Review
On May 6, 2014 and subsequent dates thereafter, the BBB contacted Roofing Wholesale Supply regarding their advertisement stating "#1 In Professional Windows, Doors & Siding" in the 4/2014 edition of the Valpak.
According to the BBB Code of Advertising Section 14., superlative statements, like advertising claims, are objective (factual) or subjective (puffery). Subjective claims are expressions of opinion which tend to mislead and should be avoided. Therefore, the BBB asked Ideal Window & Door Supply to substantiate or modify their claim.
To date, the company has not responded to the BBB.
