Simply Eloped has been okay to work with so far. However, I need to write this review to advise customers not to opt for the Day of Coordinator/On-site Helper. This job is useless and a waste of $400.The Day of Coordinator is only available30 minutes before your ceremony and leaves immediately after. I hardly consider this "dayof". I asked my coordinator if they could supervise the chair set-up earlier in the day and they refused. This article on the Simply Eloped website includes this task in theirjob description:**********************************************************************************************, I asked if we could schedule a ***** minute walk-through rehearsal and they refused.Not to mention, my first coordinator was assigned 6 months before the ceremony and then proceeded to quit two weeks before the wedding. My second coordinator quit a week before the wedding. I asked Simply Eloped for a refund and to remove the coordinator from my wedding. They did not issue a refund because it was less than 30 days before the ceremony, even though these coordinators are allowed to quit whenever they please. I am now paying someone $400 to attend my wedding and do absolutely nothing.Do not pay for this service. If a Day of Coordinator/On-site helper is included in your package, ask to remove this service to save money.

I cannot recommend Simply Eloped enough. Not only did we change our wedding date 2 times, but also the location from ******** to *****. They were extremely patient and helpful with our change of plans and made sure we had all the information we needed. Our total bill from them was less than 2k. That's phenomenal compared to how much a regular wedding costs. Our officiant was kind and friendly, and our photographer did a fantastic job. We chose the smallest package but it was perfect for our small family-only ceremony. This is a day we will look back on and remember forever and Simply Eloped helped make it perfect. Thank you!

I would not recommend this company as our event helper/coordinator was awful and led to a poor experience. Her communication was lacking and it seemed as if she was out in left field regarding things she was responsible for. Despite being told in the beginning our date was secured and buying invitations and securing flights for a destination wedding, she told us several weeks later she didnt secure the venue and the date was no longer available and we needed to change our wedding date. This resulted in significant money wasted as we needed to reordered invitations and other items that already had our wedding date on them. Also, family needed to pay to change their flights. We needed to ask her multiple times about the delay in securing a photographer and once it was secured, we found out the photographer was booked for the incorrect time. Also, our flowers were delivered the day before the ceremony (another error) and we were told someone from simply eloped should have told you we couldnt deliver on the day of your wedding. We will just leave the flowers on your doorstep. The flowers were left on the porch, uncovered and significantly frayed due to wind exposure. The boutonnire was unusable the day of the wedding as it was wilted. Lastly, coordination with the hair and makeup artist was a mess. I asked our coordinator to have hair and makeup come at **** and she informed me it was scheduled appropriately. At midnight the night before the wedding I happen to check my email and have an email from my hair and makeup artist informing me she was told to arrive by 7 am. It was too late to ask her to delay her arrival so I needed to change my morning timeline to be up and ready for hair and makeup by 7 am. Again, the coordinators lack of attention to detail and communication was awful. I dont know if the Simply Eloped experience would have been better with a different wedding planner, but based on what we experienced, I would never recommend them to anyone.

Simply Eloped was able to schedule our elopement within 2 weeks of starting the process. Everything went smoothly, even with the last-minute booking. Communication was straightforward and consistent.

Simply Eloped was everything I could have imagined to take the stress out of planning our special day! We live in ******* and eloped in ****** and it was such a relief to hardly have to put any effort into planning, and for such an affordable price! Our officiant was amazing, our photographer was amazing, the flowers were beautiful, and ***** was spectacular in answering questions the entire time leading up to the big day. I could not have asked for a better experience and would recommend Simply Eloped for anyone who is considering elopi g.

They were so easy to work with and quick to respond! Our on site helper, ****, was phenomenal! Our photographer was awesome! The whole experience was a breeze and let us enjoy our special day without the stress! Highly recommend.

This experience started out great (which is why I have this as two stars). Communication was on point, everything was easily booked, and not having to **** down venders was awesome. But, a month and a 1/2 before my wedding (booked over 6 months ago) I have lost a lot of respect for the company. The location that I had booked was shut down for construction. I was asked to pay $290 to relocate to another site for a different permit and vendor travel fees. I looked for other locations that would not charge a fee, but given the short amount of time nothing was available or the locations would make us extremely late to the reception which was non-refundable. Multiple emails later after stating that the lack of communication between Simply Eloped and the location site should not be at my expense, I still had to pay the $290. My guests and I have to travel 45 minutes further from the houses we had already rented. My travel fees or the money wasted on invitations and the rearranging of plans for that weekend were not taken into consideration at all, not including the frustration of being told multiple times that different venues were booked that day and time when searching for a new place. After multiple emails pleading my case, instead of just waving the additional fees, I was offered a $100 voucher for picture prints... *********** would not own up to the mistake and kept blaming everything on the permit office. This was a location that was advertised on their website. The manager of customer experience continuously blamed everything on the location permit office. Again, if Simply Eloped is partnering with other businesses and offering them as potential wedding sites, communication goes both ways and mistakes between the two parties should not be at the customers expense.I truly hope the ceremony makes up for this nightmare, I will update after the wedding.
