I have requested a refund for an item I declined a frozen Turkey at pick-up and for receiving the wrong item of Tide Pod from Albertsons on ******************************, *****. My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I called the online customer service central office more than 5 times but there was no resolution. I'm requesting a total refund of $54 for both items. But I keep getting the same response repeatedly of waiting on approval of the manager. I was never able to speak to the online customer service manager. They keep me on the line until the phone disconnects. I called the onsite store manager twice. There were two different managers. One of them promised that she would process the refund but nothing happened. I waited 7 days and there was no refund. I called again but the second ******** ******* had no clue and promised to look into it and get back to me. And he never did. It feels like this is a ring of scammers from the top and bottom. This is the worst grocery shopping experience I have ever had. They are definitely not worthy of any business.Review from Joe H

Digital Rebates. A year ago, I found their $5 rebate for beer. The $5s were coming to my ******. In Sept 24, one rebate hadnt showed. I bought beer a couple weeks later. After a week or so, still no payments for the last 2 rebates. I emailed them and said I had been receiving them over the past year, but not the last 2. I hadnt changed anything. They responded as if I was brand new to the program. Please check your SPAM folder We went around in emails a couple times and they gave me a number to call. The *** said she set it up so the next time I made a purchase, it would trigger all the rebates. In Oct., I went and bought beer. The 3 never showed I emailed and they started with the please check your SPAM folder. We went around in email several times. We were just going in circles and it felt like I was dealing with an AI chatbot. They asked for my info multiple times. In one of the latest emails, they even said that I must have done it wrong and told me to go to customer service and have them show me how to use their app correctly. I did it right. I knew it and they knew it. I told them I had had enough of the runaround and Id be ***orting to the BBB. They went ahead and gave a courtesy credit to my loyalty account. I had no intent of going back to that store, but now I have to, to get my payment, that was supposed to go to ******. I said that was unacceptable and they just ***lied with, Well, you can apply the credit to your next purchase. So, it took almost 2 months to get a store credit, in place of the cash that was supposed to go to ******. NOTE: I started out being nice and I feel that they took advantage of me being a nice guy.UPDATE: Confirmed I have a credit, but now I find out that I cant use the credit to buy beer. That is the only thing Id go back there to buy. Thats what the rebates were for and the only reason I went to their store!UPDATE 2: I used my credit to get some salt pellets, so I guess its resolved, but what a hassleReview from Louis H

One of their subsidiaries store number 2693 in ********, ************ had three rude employees who think its OK to belittle a disabled person and put their safety in danger this including blocking a sidewalk with shopping carts between their business and another. They think people getting off the bus are not at risk of getting hit by cars going around potholes in the parking lot, so store 2693 since I am banned from for no good reason will receive an F rating. I need to close down. Albertsons and Acme are in deck so they should not even be around anymore. Let alone finding somebody to buy them out because that company should be in charge of , everything, including who comes and goes from their stores once the merger goes through if it goes throughReview from Carmela m

The experience that I had at the ******************************************************* is pathetic.I had bought 2 gift cards for a total value of $150.00. Called the store that I had misplaced them and what my options were. I called first and was brushed off from the phone. I went in person and they called the director. A woman came to the front desk. I explained that on the phone I was informed to call the company directly. I called the company directly and was told to go back to Jewel and that they would call them directly and they could see what could be done. This director refused to call for me. I was told that once it's bought there is nothing that they can do. EXTREMELY RUDE with no intentions of assisting. I did not expect as a customer to be treated that way.I WILL NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH *****. However, I called the customer service number to ask for the name of the district manager to report the issue that I had at this store and the woman gave me a number that opened up a case, gave me the gift card numbers and a number to call. Within a week I had a replacement for the $150 gift card. Apparently, the director at the 159th store was not aware of their policy and not well informed on the company's policies.I have never been refused for assistance from a director. I would give it a negative review if this was an option.Review from Marine M

Racial Discrimination at Pavilions Time: Sep 14th, 2023, at around 4pmLocation: Pavilions grocery store (******************************************************************)Name: ******* (unknown last name, about 6 feet high, white), a staff of Pavilions My youngest son (3 years old) had a serious heart condition since birth. He had two open chest cardiology surgeries. Now he is still on medications everyday. So we received a disabled placard from DMV because of him. We are legally *********** park in any disabled parking space when he is in our car. (We strictly never parked in any disabled parking space when he was not in the car and reserve the spaces for people in need)This afternoon my wife drove to this Pavilions with my son. She parked in a disabled parking space and hung the placard on the mirror as usual. While she hold our son (disabled) in her arms and walked into Pavilions, a gentleman with a name tag of ******* harassed her. ******* discriminated my wife and son based on their age, gender, and body conditions. Although we did not want to share our privacy, my wife politely told ******* that we had the disabled placard, and it was because of our son that we were legally *********** park there. My older son (11 years old) was there and politely explained to ******* that because of the surgeries his younger brother was considered a disabled person. However, ******* said shame on you and left.My 3 year old son was terrified by how *********************** was and cried a lot on his way home. I am going to personally visit the store and talk to the manager of the store. I'd like to ask her the following questions:1, Did ******* harassed everyone legally parked in the disabled parking space? If not, then it was a discrimination against us.2, Did ******* discriminate people based on how they look or talk? If not, why did he harass a lady with a disabled kid?3, Why did ******* say SHAME ON YOU and refuse to apologize even after he knew my son was a disabled kid?Review from Kelley R

On May 1, 2023, I purchased 14 ************* Gift Cards for gifts at $200.00 each at Albertsons on ******************* in *****. On June 2, I opened one of the unopened cardboard packing with the card inside. When I tried to use it the balance was at $0.00. I called the ************ Gift card phone number on the back of the card and was instructed to contact the store in which the card was purchased. I called Albertsons on ******************* in ***** and was told they could not help me. I then contacted the ************************ for advice. They advised to contact Albertsons ***************** I called the **************** twice and each time was transferred to another person, I left messages which were never returned.I took the rest of the unopened cards to my bank, Cap *** to open the remaining cards with a witness. As I opened the card packages, 4 cards were at $0.00 balance. With the first card and the additional 4 cards the total came to $1000.00 that was not on the cards. Do not buy gift cards at Albertons!Review from Telisia B.

If I could rate a zero I would have! Worst customer service ever, even through chat! Unhelpful at all, rude, and situation didnt get resolved. They could care less. Instead of helping me, ********* ghosted me and stopped responding to the chat. Great job Albertsons and ******** Your customer service reflects your agency and if you hire people like that, it doesnt say much for your company.Review from Hoa T

This is a complaint against the the store at ****************************, ******.I bought 2 of ************ gift cards with total one thousand USD there on October 1st and 10th. 2022. Both have zero balance and can't even check the balance via website . They are fraud cards, I believe. I came back to this store back and forth in 3 days until I met the store manager. After hearing my case, he said he knew some cases like mine, but he can't do anything except reprinting my receipt. I don't understand why a manager doesn't take responsibility when his store sold those fraud cards. I was extremely embarrassed when my customer returned these fraud gift cards back. My reputation was ruined because of these frauds. Note: I have already emailed my complaint to ************* since October 13th, 2022. And I receive the silent from ************* until now. Should I wait more or file a small claim case to ****** Small Claims Court?
