On May 18, 2021, Better Business Bureau was alerted to a business operating as HomeLife LED, https://buyhomelifeled.com/, in Hayden, Idaho 83835. The business website advertises High Quality LED Lighting, “No Hassle Returns,”“30-day money back guarantee,” and a “1-Year Warranty,” on their products.

Consumers who have ordered these products allege they are of inferior quality as they are poorly constructed, parts are defective, and HomeLife LED is unresponsive to their requests for assistance. Consumers report HomeLife LED does not honor their advertised offer of a full refund as they charge a non-refundable re-stocking fee for returns.

 On May 26, 2021 and June 17, 2021, BBB reached out to HomeLife LED regarding the consumer complaints, but to date has not received a response.

    I was unknowingly signed up for a subscription service, with an ongoing monthly fee of $20.05 When I was completing the online purchase and agreed to pay to have the LED Motion Activated Lights delivered to me, HomeLifeLED enrolled me in a ********************* The charge is the $20.05 listed above. They say that the subscription provides me with vouchers and access to exclusive products. I never received any offers or benefits from this. None. Nothing even in my spam email inbox. Please be careful to read the information at online checkout. They asked if I was willing to receive information from the company by email. I expected to be put on a typical advertising email list. This is the only semi-legitimate explanation I can think of that explains how I ended up with this unwanted paid subscription. I agreed to be placed on an email list. I would never have knowingly signed up for their ********************* And would never have agreed to pay them money for it.

    Product not as advertised. Literally pieces of junk. Claim to have ****** hours of light. Was lucky to get 10 hours of light. Only used 3 of the 10 that were purchased. Company will not refund my $166.00. As consumers do we not have rights for false advertisement of a product? Will dispute with credit card company. Will see what happens.

    I am being charged by my Capitol One card for an order I have never received. The order was placed on June 2 - posted on June 3 to my Capitol One account. It is now June 21, and, just today, have received my credit card statement for $288.73!

    Date of purchase: May 6 Price of purchase:$60.74 Received on May 13, *************************************************************** the original packaging.Was offered $32 instead of sending back.I was appalled that they wanted me to accept that amount.I sent back and was told they would only give me $39 when the website clearly states that if returned within 90 days that I would receive 100%refund!

    On Jan 27, 2023 I ordered 5 pack of HomeLife motion sensor LED lights totaling $83.35. Received the order and once the 4 brand new AAA batteries were installed the correct way, initially it worked, then after about 15 seconds it went off and never worked again. The only time they would light was when I opened the battery compartment lid and checked the batteries, as the lids connection was made with the batteries before closing, the light went on. When the lid was snapped closed, the light went off. Because these all have motion sensors, they were tried in a dark area and the lights never came on. There is no contact information on their website to try getting in touch with the company, so by the time you're able to find any information whatsoever, the "money back guarantee" time has passed and they won't issue a refund! Aside from Corporate addresses, and the below info is copied directly from their website, there is NO information listed...under "Email" they give no email address, and under "Phone" they give no phone number!"CUSTOMER SERVICE Email You can reach us by email 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Phone You can reach us by telephone during our phone support hours:Monday-Friday Eastern Standard Time - 9:00AM to 7:00PM Saturdays Eastern Standard Time - 9:00AM to 6:00PM"I'm out all the money I spent with no way of contacting them before the money back guarantee runs out to get my money back! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Attached photo is one (of 5) non-working lights purchased. There is no on/off button so this light should be on because I was moving. And even though the image looks to be in a lighter room, it was definitely dark!

    I received 3 led lights, 1 is missing the magnetic strip on the unit so can not be mounted. The other 2 worked for a day and then ceased to function as they are intermittent. They had brand new triple a Duracell batteries. Just a very inferior product and waste of time and money!!!

    THE LIGHT HAS A BATTERY COMPARTMENT. ONCE YOU PLACE BATTERIES IN THE COMPARTMENT THE *** ON THE COMPARTMENT WILL NOT SNAP SHUT.     I ordered 5 pack of homelife motion sensor LED lights and 2 solar security lights on 8/22 with expedited processing which I did NOT request. the total less shipping was $97.89. upon arrival NONE of these lights worked right out of the box with brand new batteries installed. solar lights not functional after full sun. absolutely nonfunctional products. shipping was an additional $9.95.

    The HomeLife Wireless Motion Sensor LED Light does not work. Once the batteries were installed, according to the instructions included, initially it worked, then after about 15 seconds it went off and never came on again. As it has the sensor, I tried in a pitch-black room, during the night when there was no light outside to come in. The customer service representatives (3) told me that I could not get a refund because my purchase was beyond the 90-day window as stated on their web site. However, the web site also states that the product has a 12-month warranty. One representative shared that it was not the kind of warranty I was looking for, and that I would have had to pay extra for that type of warranty which would replace a defective item. Another representative told me that the part about the warranty on the web site was to pending removal as there is no warranty. From a consumer's perspective, it's simple, if the product fails to work within the stated warranty timeframe, I expect the seller to honor the warranty and replace the item or provide a refund.
