    I went to east falls clinic to setup a primary care provider for myself. I payed for the office visit upfront. While there, ************ approached me about removing a wart. I told him I was private pay, and would need to know how much it would cost first. He came back and said it would be $140, but it would be $98 with the private pay discount. I agreed. When I got my **** I was charged $200.20 I called the billing company they told me to that they will contact the drs office. I called them back they said this is what it costs. I contacted the office and talked to the office supervisor. After some discussion all she could say is I dont know where he got that number from, and I would need to pay the full amount.

    We have received your notice of the complaint filed by one of our patients regarding a billing issue. As of 04/25/2022 a request to have a billing adjustment for the disputed amount was made and was approved on 04/26/2022. The practice manager personally called the patient to let them know that that the adjustment would be made and to apologize to the patient for the inconvenience of this situation.

    I disputed a bill with these guys when they over charged me. They wouldnt do anything about it until I contacted the BBB. Once I did they said they would refund me the ~$100 that they over charged me, but never sent me a reimbursement. The original complaint number was ********.

    Unfortunately the reimbursement submission and issuing of the reimbursement does take a bit of time. The check processing for the adjustment was submitted in December and can take 2-6 weeks before being mailed to the patient. The patient should receive the reimbursement check within the next week if they have not already received it. I do apologize for the process taking so long.
