On March 14, 2024 and March 26, 2024, Better Business Bureau contacted Boise Beef Inc concerning advertising claims made on their website https://boisebeefco.com/. Specifically, BBB asked Boise Beef Inc to substantiate or modify the following claims:
- “Boise Beef uses only the best beef from local farms”
- “The four farms in our co-op are all five generation plus farms and all maintain a diligent grass fed / grass finish program with no hormones or steroids”
- Non GMO Project verified
- Animal Welfare Certified pasture raised
