Beware! Deceptive business practices. I brought in my charm bracelet and two charms and asked for a price to have the charms added to my bracelet. I was told the jeweler was not in and the employee in the shop (*****) had no idea how much they charge for attaching charms. I returned the next afternoon at 3:45 to ask again about the services. Again, ***** said the jeweler was out, but she took my bracelet and charms and wrote up a request for a price to have them attached. She told me someone would contact me before the end of the day. ***** left a voice mail at 5:16 pm saying she had a price. I called back the next morning at 10:45 and was told by another employee (****) that the cost was $30 and that they would need at least a month to do the job. I told her I could not wait a month and $30 was too much to pay. I said I would pick up my bracelet and charms. I arrived at the shop at 12:10 pm. **** had a hard time locating my bracelet and charms. She went to the back of the store, then to two different location behind the front counter before finding my bracelet. I looked at the bracelet and found that the charms had been attached. **** said I owed $30 for the service. I explained to her that I had not authorized the charms to be attached because I was told only a little over an hour ago that the service would take at least a month to complete. She said she would not give me the bracelet unless I paid and then said she would reduce the charge to $20. I told her I would not pay for a service I did not authorize and that she had lied to me just before I came to the shop saying the service would take over a month to complete. I told her I was taking my bracelet and leaving the store. She said she would call the police if I left the shop with my bracelet. So I called the police non-emergency dispatch from the parking lot and told them what had happened and about her threat to report me to the police for leaving the store with MY PROPERTY. Sayer is corrupt. AVOID AVOID!
