    I'm very concerned we just received a call from this company Commercial Readers Service a Brooklyn MD number. They asked to talk to the Activity Coordinator and she was in my office, she has no purchasing authority. But I listened to the conversation and they made it sound like they could send a magazine for my residents. I shook my head no and said they could send us some information or give us a website. I have baskets of magazines everywhere we do not need more. The residents only like their newspapers. She asked them to send us information on their business and they confirmed our address, in-fact they already had our address. We were told the website had different information and that they would be in the area to see us. I don't believe they have anyone coming to Larned, Kansas. We are not interested. I went to look the company up on the web address that was given and that site information didn't work. Now that I see what is happening to these other companies I'm wondering if this is also going to happen to us. We did not agree to buy anything. I want this on record now.

    I would also put zero stars if available. I manage a smaller healthcare facility that is being harassed and scammed by this company. We originally only signed up for one year of magazines with a magazine shipment each week to test it out. During that first year there were weeks we didnt receive ONE magazine, when they promised each week shipments. They right there violated the original sign up. They had a phone call with an employee at that facility who is not authorized to make any purchasing decisions and the saleperson on the phone had a muffled voice and you could barely understand him. He took that "recorded" call that isnt understandable as an agreement for an additonal 3 year contract when we never agreed to that. Legally, this is unethical and wrong to do to a company and is not binding as we never signed an additional contract. Now, they are harassing our payroll deparment and threatening to send us to collections for lack of payment to something we never agreed to nor understood. Now reading the other reviews here, it makes sense that we are another company that is being scammed by this company. Also to point out again, they violated the first years agreement by not sending magazines each week and also not sending proper magazines that we originally asked for, we have documentation of this. This has been a nightmare of a situation trying to figure out what to do and how to get out of it. I do not recommend utilizing or subscribing to this company. We are not paying for a service we never signed or agreed to and how unfair to do a phone call where the person was almost impossible to understand. HORRIBLE experience!!!

    Please let me know what account number is so that I can properly reply . Just a few notes about our company. Very few publications are printed weekly anymore, and we would have told the company however the publications are printed is how the client will receive them. They come directly from the publishers. Also we are required to have the recording to put through order when it was placed. We do disclose total cost, explain that we will prepay them ect. They come directly from the publishers.     I did review your account, the recording in questions was a add on account ***********. Once our office retrieved the tape and played for you, they came to me had me listen to it, I went in and cancelled the account in Nov 2022 per the quality of the recording, so I could not agree more. We were at that point left with the *********** , which when we had the conversation about the add on, Jeny stated that the main account which is the HF205 was fine and they were fine with that one. So we did go in and drop the add on account in agreement that your company would still pay for the active ***** account. That account has now cancelled for non payment.     Jenni told me that they never had that conversation and that they wanted this account totally cancelled. There is no record of this conversartion being approved to keep an account. Just to clarify since your payroll department stated that we need to pay an outstanding bill from the agreement onthe voice recording, that you just admmitted was not quality yourself, I would have to say that our account should not be charged for an agreement over that recording that your company just stated was wrong. I want to know that nothing is owed and the threat of sending to collections can stop?

    Zero stars was not possiblle so here is a 1. all customers reviews are correct as stated a scam company using pressure cold call sales tactics to extort businesses and pretend they have a legally binding contract when in fact they do not. Unless you have a signed agreement or you personally reached out to place an order from them yourself, I would suggest not paying or better yet organize a class action lawsuit by the national associations for your individual business types. They seem to target non profits individual owner and healthcare facilities that can easily be bullied or manipulated into paying via a fast talking rep who attempts to ask 15 questions to get you to say yes to agree to all the prior things they “discussed” in other calls that they magically don’t have tapes for. As they only keep recordings of the final closer who calls to fast talk and get a person at the organization to say “yes” so they can try to keep billing. Also in my recording I did listen to they stated as I have recorded the call also, a 24 month term on two different magazines but on collections and calls they say 48 month term… interesting discrepancy for a company with supposed aaa bbb rating yet 1 star all negative matching reviews going back a significant portion of their entire operation. Truly disgusting operation pushing sales goals over customers for decades as they see their customers as pigs to attach their tick like appendages to for sucking money out of them slowly and hopefully more and more over time as they call as don’t ask to speak to whoever can sign contracts or agreements but for anyone who they can get contact info for at your organization. *****, ****, etc warn your thousands of members, have them read these reviews and refuse all calls with these professionally organized scam artists or they too will be roped into this circular false logic used to pony up funds from their next victims. Amazing a co with 1star reviews stays AAA rated by bbb… seems fishy

    Horrible, try to cancel the service and they just keep sending you magazines you do not want and keep asking you to pay.

    Terrible. They are very tricky. I had to pay a lot of money to try to cancel before at my work location and they had the audacity to call and speak to someone else and convince them that this is the service that we use. I am unable to cancel a subscription after many attempts. They are rude. Do not order from this company.
