            In early May of this year (2023) I purchased a standby while house Kohler generator. After install and hookup was complete, not sure of the exact date but was early June 2023, my dealer came to start the unit and test it for proper function. At this time, we noticed a gas leak. The unit is powered by natural gas. The dealer I purchased the unit from does not do warranty work and passed the project off to one who does. That dealer came and checked to see why and where the gas leak was coming from. Then I was told I need a fuel solenoid and they would have to order said part from Kohler mfg. It has been nearly 8 weeks and my generator is still not repaired and the repairing dealer is telling me they are waiting for the part to come from Kohler mfg. I personally believe that Kohler mfg. should be able to find the part somewhere and get it to my dealer so they can repair my generator. My beef is with Kohler not the dealer where I purchased the unit nor the dealer which will make the repair.
