This is a response to ******************************* review regarding her dog being kept muzzled for 5 days. Here's a link to my video response: https://youtu.be/loHFrSZLFr0 Just so that people know, ******************************* dog attacks people. The dog has actually attacked her family as well as herself, me, and my staff. When it comes to human aggression, we take it very seriously as a dog bite can cause irreparable nerve damage. Also, not to forget, that I lose an employee due to the injury and that employee may not want to come back because they were forced to handle an unmuzzled human-aggressive dog.My stance on the matter has not changed. ****** has been told no countless times. She even claimed that her dog could vomit and asphyxiate with the muzzle on and for it to be removed at night. The answer was still no. The muzzle in question is a *********** meant for extended wear. Dogs can eat, drink, open their mouths, and pant normally. The irritation she speaks of is from rubbing, much like walking in a pair of shoes that don't fit well. If I have to make the decision between my staff being able to handle a dog safely or unmuzzling a dog because of how an owner feels. I will choose my staff. Always. As for hiding behind emails. I am not hiding. I've just learned not to waste my time with people who don't listen. If my staff is telling you no, what makes you think I will tell you any different? I gave the same answer except it went from 'no' to 'no, and don't bring your dog back.' ****** was told before, by me, that the answer was no and if she didn't like it, to go somewhere else yet she continued to bring her dog back to us for a year.

Do not use Canine Perspective, Inc. They left a muzzle on my dog without proper supervision for 5 straight days - even at night (while he is alone in his crate), which caused bleeding/blister skin irritation that no one noticed until I removed the muzzle when I picked him up. When I asked for any kind of muzzle breaks, they said no but that NOW staff will monitor his muzzle for skin irritation and rewrap it if needed - which as trained dog carriers they should've done in the first place. After being a client for nearly 1 year, this muzzle incident happened under their watch, and instead of trying to figure something out I was informed that they all of a sudden decided that my dog is no longer a good fit at their establishment. The owner is condescending and hides behind emails that he has the secretary send instead of dealing with any issues himself. If/when a problem occurs seems they would rather cut you as a client over working out a resolution plan.(If anyone from Canine Perspective objects to any of the above I am happy to post the emails they sent me that states all of this)
