  Broadway in Chicago is conducting illegal lotteries. Customers may enter for a chance to secure two tickets to see "********" for $10. The usual price is $42.50 to $232.50 per ticket, according to the 9-2-23 ********** Entry is through the official app for ********, available in the Apple App Store and the ****** Play Store. There is a lottery every week until the end of December. However, all legal business drawings must abide by, and advertise, the disclaimer, "No purchase necessary to enter or win." If a purchase is required, it is an illegal lottery. I volunteer for an anti-gambling organization and know of what I speak. The laws have not caught up to online-gambling crimes sufficiently to file my complaint elsewhere.

  Hello BBB, Im writing because Im requesting a refund of the money paid for 4 tickets to the ********************* on the date of December 23, 2022. The tickets were purchased on November 11, 2022 for $766.50. The problem started on the Monday before the show (12/19/22) when it was being reported by the local news stations that a large winter storm was expected at the end of the week. I email customer service for ********************** (***) about the upcoming storm and what to do if the weather is too bad to come as we are coming from quite a distance. I was told to wait and see. The day before the show, news stations are reporting the storm will be very bad and recommending NOT to travel unless absolutely necessary. The day (22nd), *** posted on their ******** page that no refunds will be issued unless they cancel the show. My family thought for sure they would as the weather was already horrible that Thursday night. However, the show that Thursday was not canceled. The next day, I started emailing customer service about our show at 2:00 that day (23rd). Again was told the show was still to proceed. I explained how I would have a woman in her 70s and a child, so we dont feel it is safe to travel from just west of Elgin all the way down to the city for this show. It was simply too dangerous. However they were not granting my request for a refund. They actually were passed the responsibility to the performance itself of Ticket Master. I purchased the tickets directly on the *** website on November 11th. I simply feel that as the customer, if I feel I need to cancel due to it being too dangerous to travel, I should be able yo get a refund. Believe me, I was beyond saddened that my family couldnt see this show as were looking forward to this greatly! Please consider our situation and please help.Thank you,***************************
