I had an extremely disappointing experience with KMonet and would never recommend her services to anyone. My appointment was rescheduled multiple times because she was still working on a client from the night before, which was frustrating enough and likely a lie - it only got worse. During my first appointment, she apparently forgot to update her location from a salon suite in ********** to her home, which was inconveniently located on the far south side. The space where she provided services was far from professional-an unkempt dog constantly got into things, and the environment was chaotic, with children around, leading to constant distractions. The service itself was incredibly disorganized. KMonet repeatedly started and stopped working on my hair, making the process unnecessarily long and drawn out. To top it off, she washed my hair in her bathroom sink, which was disgustingly unclean and used by everyone in the household. It was utterly unsanitary. Communication was another huge issue. She took over 5 hours to respond to text messages, showing a total lack of professionalism and consideration for her clients. I am STILL awaiting a response to my last text regarding my appointment that was supposed to occur today. The bottom line is that KMonet has no control over her personal life, which severely impacts the quality of her services. I paid $642 in total, and it was a complete rip-off. She'll require a large security deposit and then jerk you around when it's time for an appointment. She talks a big game but clearly lacks integrity and time management skills. Do not book with this woman. Save your time, money, and sanity.

I booked a microloc installation for August 1st at 7:00 am she contacted me the day before my appointment saying that I needed to pay her the remaining balance by noon July 31st. I paid the remaining balance and later that night around 11 PM she texted me saying that her knee was swollen, that she wasnt sure if she would be able to keep my initial appointment. She informed me that her doctor did not clear her to work until after August 18. she told me she did not want to cancel my appointment and that she wanted to power through the pain on the morning of August 1. She texted me again saying that the swelling would not go down and offered to reschedule my hair appointment. my issue was that my appointment was for August 1 and I was leaving to go to school August 4 , we agreed to Friday, August 3 the day before I was supposed to leave for school. She did not reconfirm the appointment the night before like she had the first time and she did not change it on her booking site so I could visually see it confirmed. I texted her Thursday, August 2 around 6 PM to reach out for confirmation. She did not respond to me till after midnight on Friday, August 3 by that time I had already been sleep and when I woke up, she texted me again saying that I could come around 12 or one that was not a definite time For me to show up to an appointment. I texted her again and let her know that since she was unable to give me a definite time or confirm my appointment within 24 hours that I would like my money back she told me it was within her booking policy that she did not do refunds, even though the original cancellation was due to her inability to complete the service , I disputed the charges through my credit card company and receive most of my money back. I was unable to receive my initial deposit of $252 back because I made it with a debit card and when she went to Re- dispute my charge, she submitted pictures of someone elses hair, claiming that she did my hair .
