            I am a disabled veteran who is now homeless because ********************* negligently failed to see major issues during a home inspection he did for me last July during the process to buy the house on a VA Home Loan. **************** inspected the home, said it was good, and I closed last September. In December a plumber-contractor I brought in for a crawl space encapsulation quote said I had bigger issues to worry about. **************** missed very obvious issues like a broken mainline, crumbling foundation, rotten floor joists and rotten main support beam. My insurance company sent an engineer out who verified the issues and said they were worse than that. **************** also missed the drain connection between my bathrooms/kitchens didn't connect to mainline, along with roots growing through the foundation. (My insurance company said these issues pre-date my my ownership and denied my claim). A second inspector found even more issues like a bulging front wall due to lentiling, a corroded main ground and my back porch that was pulling away from the home. Had he pointed these issues out to me I would have walked because these issues mean the home violates the VA Home Loan "minimum property requirements" of safety and sanitation. These issues mean my lender and VA wouldn't have backed the loan. I have filed an IDFPR complaints against him (and others). The complaint is now being investigated. Five qualified people have been in the crawI space and or around the home. All four have said these are easily identifiable issues. The outlier is ****************. I want **************** to file an errors and omissions insurance claim to pay for the repairs. Should he refuse he will be sued. Attached are his inspection report, the engineer report, my insurance claim denial, and second inspection report. I can also send other reports if needed. Because of these issues I am no longer able to live in the home.Thanks.
