I would give this zero stars if I could. My uncle passed away and I was booking a flight for my elderly father. If I had been thinking more clearly, I would have checked the reviews first for bookingace.com (DBA Explorenuttravels). Immediately after booking (for about $100 less than posted prices), I received an email stating the booking was not yet confirmed and I needed to call their customer support number where they tried to charge a higher price than what I had just booked (same flight was available on American Airlines still w/multiple seats left). It was clearly a scam. I immediately cancelled the reservation and my credit card so it would not be charged. I re-booked directly through AA and started looking at reviews of bookingace.com. Pretty much ALL of them said this is their scam. They charge you one price online and immediately follow up with an email stating you need to call them and then they increase the price. This is their MO. Just Google them. Shameful and disgusting.

I think this travel agency is incompetent and corrupt. They overcharged me $2273 for the two round trip tickets to ******. It is illegal to charge more than the airline price. ***** Airlines charged the travel agency with fraud. The travel agency will not refund me the money they overcharged on the tickets.
