    I purchased a money order from $1000.00 and issued it to my landlord. However, the landlord bank cancel/blocked the money order. I returned to the PLS check cashing place and they had me fill out a money order stop payment refund request form. I uploaded an attached copy (please check upload). Continually, I was told to give the progress two weeks, then three. I was told by the representative that the check was issued on 12/30/2024 and it will take 14 business days before it reached. I waited, however, I never received it. I am writing this compliant to gain some assistance. I called PLS multiple times but to no avail, I keep getting the run around. I need some assistance obtaining my $1000.00 money order refund.

    On 10/23 I contacted the manager and never heard back from anyone. I was charged $328 without being notified how much it would be prior to casing my check. There is absolutely no way i wouldve cashed my check if they would have told me the price. I have a bank account and couldve waited. They didnt announce how much would be taken out of the check until after it was cashed leaving me with no option.

    I was at work on Friday October 18th 2024 at 3:28 pm I received my normal direct deposit to my Xpectations card totaling $2258.57. I receive phone alerts for my account transactions but I leave my phone in my truck when I'm working and wasn't able to see the alerts, when I went on my break I check my phone I see 16 different transactions made on my card ********************************* the amount of ****** at different locations that I have never been to, and then there were 2 other big transactions made in the amount of ******* and ****** both in places that I have never even been to leaving me with a balance of $748.57. I quickly called PLS customer service to make them aware of the situation and to lock the card, they told me that I'd have to go to the nearest pls and have the store call back to customer service for verification to unlock the card so that I can get the remaining balance. It was the PLS store location in ******* on *************. This is the only location that I've used this card at in the last several months. Every time I've gone in this store their employee a lady who's name starts with a J would attempt at scaring me to switch to their new card being offered, stating it was mandatory that I switch to their new card with a chip from their new bank due to no longer being contracted with the bank that is affiliated with my current card. 1st I was a bit hesitant due to the high pressure I was receiving from her every time I went in to get my money. So I finally said ok I'll switch, we then had a issue because due to homelessness I use a P.O box for my address and their system said that a physical address was needed for the card to go to so I wasn't able to switch so I kept my same card. The transactions occurred 10/18/2024. I went into the PLS store in *******, ** on 10/19/2024 to retrieve what remained on my card to which I was met with hostility and almost refused service for asking the same employee to call corporate to verify and unlock my card

    I have a prepaid **** card account called PLS Expectations from PLS financial services. The agreement as told is you pay $6.95 per month for using the card as a credit card with an additional $1.50 per transaction fee if using the card as debit with the *** number. But often when going to certain stores such as *************** or ** they charge you the $1.50 fee even if you designate the purchase as a credit transaction and don't use the ***. I've also been charged the fee when making online purchases. The customer service would at first say just make sure you tell the cashier to process the card as credit, then they would say the fee occurs because of the way the store processes the transaction their own way. They will refund a few fees as "a one-time courtesy" then argue and refuse any more refunds. It seems to me this is dishonest. This has been going on for years and apparently they don't regard it as a problem that should and can be fixed. It's a sneaky way to accumulate lots of fees and make a lot of money dishonestly.

    6/3, payment to PLS to pay resident's rent with a payment coupon Went to the wrong account because resident had the wrong payment coupon The payment coupon she had belonged to another resident. In an attempt to move that payment from the other resident to her account, it was not there either. PLS won't help us gain access to this payment, won't process the funds and will not assist us after I called several PLS locations and posted three attempts for assistance on PLS website.

    On March 24th 2024 I had used my xpectations card that I had got from ***. I had last used my card on that same day, March 24th to purchase gas at a gas station which I paid $24.00 for. Once I had gone home I started to receive text messages about my account being charged in multiple places for the amounts of $102.99, $61.80, $76.00 and also another $24.00 so I was charged twice for gas at the time as well. I immediately went to *** which is located on the corner of my house and as I was there explaining my situation my card was being used. The employees working there had said it was being used for utility bills and I had to cancel my card and remove the remaining cash. This is the second time that I have purchased an xpectations card from this specific *** location and then it randomly starts being used after Ive used it to purchase something. I had called the bank company and explained what happened and they began to tell me that it would take up to 90 days to receive my money back. I called a few times after to see if anything was resolved with the fraud on my card and there were no answers and they were rude treating me as if I was trying to get money back that I had used to buy things even though I had told them the cashier was seeing the messages I was receiving as I was in the *** location talking to her. This has now been over *************************************************************************************************************************************************** not. This is completely unprofessional and that money was fraudulently taken from my card without my permission. I want my money back and it seems I will never get it back. I need help getting this issue resolved because I am getting nowhere on my own. If I can not resolve it contacting the BBB I might have to go to emailing the news because this is just wrong and I dont appreciate how I am being treated. I am an elderly women who does not have much. Please help.

    Hello ! I would like tonrepprt PLS **** / ************* I have been using green PLS card service for a while but all of a sudden something has gone wrong. Just like **** of America, PLS has block and attacked my purchasing activity with Alexiexpess only. I would like to bring this issue to the Better Business Bureau to resolve this issue. I would like to continue using green PLS card to purchase items from Alexiexpress website. I am able to use the card to purchase items everywhere and any where except "Alexiexpress" honestly this is harrassment and tormentation towards a consumer. You should take note and take full responsibility of your employees actions towards my financial account with PLS. If this issue with PLS is not resolved I will continue to make complaints to the Better Business Bureau.     I contacted 0 and I was told i had to wait for the transaction from pending today to post to file a dispute which could take 90 days which i feel is unfair knowing i reported this person on face book scamming people. I don't appreciate it and I want my money refunded to me asap. This is very upsetting, and I feel they need to be punished. I requested the money back and they keep denying it and i want to be advocacy for people in my community and I am very upset this happened to me.
