    I was in a car accident in an **** on the 01/08/2024. I contacted Malman law and they gave me an attorney and case worker to foresee and handle my case. In the month of march/April, they assigned a new care worker named *******, telling me that my case is now assigned to her and that my case and the **** driver is merged as one and that I have a new attorney . That was strange because I sued ****. I have not heard from the attorney and few times I spoke with ******* she says they still waiting on settlement, now nobody picks my calls I have dropped and sent voicemails till date nobody has told nothing or any update regarding my case. I'm so disappointed with Malman law. And the merged my case with the **** driver without my consent.

    Malman Law is withholding my funds and providing varying amounts that do not align with our contractual agreement. Despite withholding my funds, they refuse to release them to me. Additionally, Malman Law is withholding funds from my family, despite my representation as their chosen representative. This situation is causing significant stress for both myself and my family members, who are legally documented as wanting me to act on their behalf. Malman Law has billed me a 33% fee on $75,000, yet they have only disbursed approximately $27,000 to me, withholding the remainder of my funds. This withholding is unacceptable and requires immediate resolution.

    On March 21st a message to call by a ******* of Malman Law was sent out regarding my (********* case). This call was concerning a settlement of $80k to be received through a coordinator whereby I myself (********)/an appointee was to sign. Fwd over a month later after a number of broken promises of a Corninator coming out to have me (********) to sign for my check, to this very day No cordinator, No check, even after Attorney *********************** himself promised a cordinator by the name of *** was coming out to meet me. Now all Im getting is the run around leaving several messages to be contacted only to get No response. I WANT MY MONEY! Please Help Me.

    I hire Malman Law to represent my case last year, and they failed to communicate with me regarding my case, I have never spoken to my attorney over the course of 10 month, until last few weeks, I spoke with Attorney *****, he told me that he would release my files to me, so I could hire another attorney, but they will not release my file, today I also called the insurances company to see the status of my claim they told me Malman is still my attorney, Per Attorney ***** he indicated that they decided to drop my case, and will not put a lien on my file, but they are not releasing my file for me to proceed.

THE ATTORNEYS RECEIVED THEIR 1/3 OF THE SETTLEMENT AND ONLY PAID 3 OF HER ***** (49) THEIR DISTRIBUTION. EVERY ONE OR TWO YEARS HE ASKED THE ***** TO SEND HIM THEIR ID AND SOME PAPERS TO SIGN TO GET THEIR DISTRIBUTION OR SAY HE HAS TO GO TO COURT BECAUSE HE HAS FOUND MORE *****. ON 8/16/22 MR. ******************* E-MAIL ME TO AGREE TO GIVE 50% OF THE ESTATE TO PATERNAL ***** TO BE DEPOSIT IN THE COOK COUNTY TREASURE. I CALLED HIM ON 6/13/23 TO ASKED AGAIN WHY THE OTHER ***** HAS NOT RECEIVED THEIR DISTRIBUTION. HE SAID HE WILL PUT THE CHECKS FOR MY SIBLINGS IN THE MAIL BY THE END OF THE ***** ANOTHER LIE. I HAVE BEEN ASKING HIM FOR THAT LIST FOR OVER A MONTH.  ALL HE HAS TO DO IS MAIL OR E-MAIL ME A COPY OF THE LIST THAT HE IS USING TO MAIL OUT THE CHECKS.     I hired Malman Law to represent me in a civil cases involving the death of my niece some 6 years ago. The case was settled more than 2 years ago and Malman Law has not distributed the settlement monies yet. I've tried calling the lawyer assigned to the case to ask about the delays. No one will return my calls. They claim they are searching for heirs for two of my brothers who died many years ago. I tried to explain , neither has any heirs because both lived as gay men for all of their adult lives and had no children. Please help resolve this unending case by distributing the funds to the current heirs.

After the law firm received $77,484.43 for their service attorney ********************* asked ***************************** ( ************************* ) and *************************** ( petitioner ) for 20k to locate more heirs and when this request was denied attorney ********************* has been refusing to release the funds $147,484.43 claiming he is looking for more relatives not listed as heirs in lawsuit. ********************* has been refusing to release these funds since December 10, 2019. When I contacted attorney ********************* 2-7-2023 on behalf of my elderly family members informing him of my intention to file a complaint his response was " I don't care, it is your prerogative "Judge ******************************* Case ( No: 19P2722 ) was settle in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Probate Devision>***************************** ( ************************* ) ************** Estate: of *****************. deceased 1-24-2019

On February 7, 2023, we received a call from *************************************, the son of *******************, an heir of the Estate of ********************  ********************************* was concerned about the delay in distribution of the net Estate of *******************. We informed **************** that the net Estate is still being held in a trust until we receive a court order allowing distribution to the heirs.  The delay in distribution is due to the courts concern regarding very complicated unknown heirship issues that can only be resolved through professional heirship searches.
    The Independent Administrator, *****************************, has been informed of the case status as well as her duties and responsibilities to the Estate.  Unfortunately, until a professional heirship search is performed and the court approves distribution, we are unable to distribute the estate to the heirs.

    If Malman Law represent the Estate of ***************** then you represent me and if that is case then there would be no need for the complainants I filed against you.On December 10, 2019 at 11:00am Malman Law filed Notice of Petition To Approve Settlement Distribution with The Circuit Court Of Cook ************************ The distribution of the ********** of ***************** has been approved for four years now. As for your claim of professional Heirship searches no where in the above petition to the court that all parties signed off on prior to submission does it give you the authority to search for anyone and your letter dated January 17, 2023 asking my elderly family members to signed to ***** heirship attest to that fact. The gig is up, you are not keeping the 147k and I'm giving you the opportunity to come to your senses before a lawsuit is file against your firm. Paper trail is in progress.

    Wow! If I didnt know any better I wouldnt think I was dealing with lawyers. Attached is the affidavit Malman Law sent my elderly family members pressuring them to sign so that Malman Law can charge them 4 years of billing hours leaving them with nothing. My elderly family members never asked ********** to look for more heirs this is something they did on their own after their request for 20k was denied by my family. Malman Law received about 77k after the lawsuit was settled four years ago and seen an opportunity to extort my elderly black family members out of more money. Im not an elderly person this isnt about me getting money it is about not allowing you to walk away with 147k of my family money. I will be there on the 29th to specifically express to the judge that my family never asked you to look for anymore heirs.

    My son who is 44 and he is disabled I'm his guardian my son suffers from seizures where as he was admitted into university of ******* care and discovery on the 3rd floor during Thanksgiving my son had a nurse who stayed by his bedside to watch after him to help him back and forth to the washroom he fell out the bed with no assistance and she did not report the fall when my son was discharged into my care we noticed his leg was swollen and he kept complaining about pain from the leg ended up taking him to mercy hospital where they did a x-ray and it was determined that he had a bad broken ankle that required surgery he had to have screws and and a rod put in and I'm needing help with a lawsuit I have explained this to malman and they said they would get back that's been 3 weeks ago I need help with getting my son the justice he deserves bcuz he disabled doesn't mean he be treated like he doesn't matter!!

    ************** contacted my office on December 8, 2022, regarding a new case. We informed her that we could not accept the case, but we could refer her to another firm.  That firm spoke with ************** on December 15, *****, and also rejected the case. I called ************** on December 27, 2022, and she acknowledged that she received a call from the other firm and was aware that her case was rejected. She informed me that her daughter filed this complaint without her knowledge. I spoke with ****************** daughter on the same day and she acknowledge all of the above.  If I can be of any further assistance with this matter, please contact me.
