    On 2/4/23 I started a $300 layaway plan for a wig purchase. I put down $60 in cash which left me with the remaining balance of $240. On 4/1/23, I visited the establishment to payoff the remaining balance of $240. I was told that the only way for me to satisfy the payment is through Zelle. So I sent two separate Zelle payments (which posted on 4/3 via *********** to pay off the balance. I was then told that I have to wait 3-5 business days to come back and pick up the wig from their establishment. During the 3-5 day waiting period (4/5/23-4/7/23) I did not get a follow up on my purchase so on 4/8/23 I reached out to the seller via phone to check the status of my purchase. I was then told that their vendor has delayed their shipment and my wig purchase will be available for pickup by 4/12. On 4/15 I visited their store, with the intentions to receive my purchase and again I was told wait another week. I then came to a conclusion that I no longer wanted the item and I asked for a refund. I then spoke to a manager name ******************************* and she ensured me of a full refund within 3-5 business days. As of 4/21 I have yet to receive my refund. At the end of the day I feel as if I suffered a loss of $300 because I paid for an item that I never received and when I asked for a refund I did not get my money back as promised. Upon starting the layaway plan the merchant did not provide me with a written policy to sign and everything was verbal yet I have proof that I fully paid for the item therefore, I asked the manager to provide me with something in writing stating I will receive a full refund. I have attached all proofs and receipts for this complaint
