US cellular has predatory practices and does not follow through on conversations. My mother passes away in August. On Sept 3rd I called and canceled her home internet and they sent me a box to return the router. After receiving another bill. I contacted them around 10/14 and paid the remaining balance and they said the account was zero. I now have another bill generated on 10/4 which could not pull from the account since it was closed. They are now saying that this bill is owed even though they received the router and admit They can see I spoke to them in September and October. They also hit my mother will extra charges many times with the home internet and phone, not explaining charges and taking out extra from her bank account on two occasions, blaming it on their billing cycle. They refuse to do anything about the balance and reported it overdue, eventhough I have explained at least three times I have reported my mother deceased. If the bill was outstanding from 10/4 why did they not bring it up on 10/14. I tried asking these questions multiple times and was rudely cut off. Also they did not mark the router received until end of September and I explained that is their issue, not mine. I sent it back on 9/6.Beware, especially if you have elderly parents.

I have been a loyal customer with ********************** going on 8 years. I left **** to change phone providers. I have been having financial difficulties along with health issues. And on top of all this I have become homeless since November 2024. On 11/25/24 I was taken to the hospital where I was told I had died twice. Over these past few weeks Us Cellular was working with me as I am not able to drive, return to work. I cant even be left alone for long period of times. Today I was told by *** and supervisors that they are no longer willing to work with me . I understand I need to pay for services provided and have every intention once I get my SSA benefits. With all that I have been through since November 2024. I no longer will allow the company to be rude, condescending, discriminate against people with disabilities. They even told me they didnt care about a senator reaching out letting me know they would be assisting with getting my benefits. This is no longer a company I want to be associated with after all the treatment nor would I recommend

I want to reinforce every negative thing that has been said by others. This company's business practices are the most deceptive I have ever experienced or even heard of. And service is the worst AND truly incompetent. Since I xo not want to type for the next 3 days, I will leave it at that -- except to say that no one should be fooled and tempted by US Cellular's promotions.

Service just keeps getting worse every year and the price isn't very competitive, Hooked up lines for our kids this year, the *** agent talked us into "call gaurdian". What a joke that was, ever since we started calling guardian, the spam calls have increased 10 fold! Literally get ***** calls per day. Every time it's the same computer voice, have blocked 100's of # but the same recorded call keeps coming from new number every time.

They are not a cell company I can recommend. I was assured if I opened a new account and received phones anywhere but a store, I would not be charged an activation fee for each ******** on my first bill, I was charged $30 per phone times five. Just got off the phone with US Cellular supervisor and was unable to rectify this. They will not budge. They also advertised four lines for $90, thats not what they charged me. They charged twice that.

This is a fairly new service for me. It started off gun ho, now its fallen by the roadside! Internet hasn't worked properly for going on two-weeks. I gave up Consumer Cellular for this junk service. Watch out people!
