Unfortunately, zero stars isnt an option, but if my review can prevent one person from being swindled, its worth it. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS DESPICABLE. First of all, I couldnt get an appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation for over 3 weeks! I requested a courtesy car (a service theyve long provided) since I was needing to drop my car off the night before and would be without my vehicle. I was informed that was no longer possible but a one-time exception could be made. I only took my vehicle in for service to Laura because I was told at the time of purchase, I have free maintenance for a year. What that really means your first service is free WITHIN one year. I should have left at that point. Second, ******, a service advisor, informed me a flush was done at ****** miles. I was charged $286 for an oil change, tire rotation, and a crank case flush. When I challenged this, I was told she stated recommended - no, she absolutely did not. Lie. ****** is unprofessional, demeaning, and lies. She informed me my extended warranty wouldnt pay for certain repairs if I didnt get the RECOMMENDED service. Lie. She also sneakily reminded me I would no longer be able to receive a courtesy vehicle with my service and that she would let her boss know how I feel about my experience. Upon arrival to pick up my vehicle, I was met with unwarranted attitude from another female service advisor. I was charged full price for a service I did not request. The service manager sat at his desk smirking and watched me through the window while I checked out - fully aware of my experience. A customer service manager, *****, reached out via text about my experience. I have yet to receive a response. Laura Buick, youve just lost THREE dedicated customers. I hope ****** enjoys her commission for swindling an unnecessary service.Review from Brad P

This business charged me for a service that I do not feel like they completed properly, charged almost ****** for a cleaning/cermaic treatment with warranty. Picked the truck up and it was filthy. Was told they would take the charge off the price. When I asked for more information on the warranty, I was told Id receive a call back with that info and no call back. Even after I called and left a voicemail.Installed floor liners improperly, I chose to have floor liners installed they were cut instead of being installed properly ruining the floor liners.I specifically made it clear that to run my credit for the *** incentive financing only to just pull it one time, my credit was ran for an additional pulls. Was treated with disrespect during the purchase, made to feel like I was doing something wrong when I questioned the shape of the vehicle and how it was set up when I showed up to purchase the vehicle, then was not taken care of after the purchase was complete.I was treated like I was a difficult customer, all I was trying to get was honesty and understanding that the amount of money I was spending that I was treated fair. Dear Mr. *********** you for sharing your concerns and experience with us. I'm sorry the truck was not cleaned to the level of satisfaction you were hoping for. When our sales manager discussed this with you, our understanding was that you were pleased with the interior cleanliness and most of the exterior cleanliness, but that much of your dissatisfaction was from the dust/dirt in your wheel ***** and other trim pieces on the vehicle. However, the Premier Finish paint and leather protectant was applied to the body panels, interior, and all components required for protection. You also have the warranty that comes with this product. That warranty is good ********** and you can have any authorized vendor perform repairs by calling ************. You should also have paperwork included with your loan agreement that has all pertinent info. Please email your Finance Manager, *** *******, at ********************************************* if you need a new copy of this paperwork. As to the floor liners, they were installed properly. Floor liners have to be trimmed to fit the contours of the under seat tray. They cannot be installed underneath the tray as then the tray will not be properly secured. Your individual issue arose because you removed the under seat tray after purchase. Lastly, your credit was pulled once by Laura Buick GMC and then pulled for verification by ************. This is normal and customary as we have to first validate what rate you may qualify for, verify identity, and clear other government compliance items at the same time. ************ then verifies your credit worthiness on their end prior to extending you a loan. We absolutely did not shop your credit around by sending to multiple lenders.Please let us know if you have any other items or concerns you would like to be addressed. Had the worst experience as an out of state buyer. Drove 10 hours with my family and 2 toddlers to trade my vehicle in and had a set deal in place. Got here and the two employees who took my truck out to make sure everything ran correctly, romped my truck and dropped the gas mileage per gallon and dropped my miles available to come in and tell me that they are dropping my trade in 10k for a part that is $450. **********, ***** and ***** did nothing but run my credit a ton of times, waste mine and my family 10 hours of time driving out of state each direction and waste my money coming up here after I offered several times if there was anything else I could do or send or give extra pictures. They don't have any of their stuff together and the first time "they got me approved" was for the wrong financed amount. So they had to rerun my credit for the correct amount. They are time and money wasters. Would have chosen to take my family on a better vacation than wasting money on a room and gas in st. *****. So thanks Laura gmc for wasting people's time and money. You make everything sound like it's good to go and there's no problems until you get down to sign your name and they end up giving you the shaft.***** per gallon were at 17.1 and miles to empty were at 46. Got back in to leave and miles per gallon went down to 16.6 and miles to empty are at 22. My wife told me that it felt as though since she wasn't going to be on the truck, and because we had our kids she was invited twice to go sit in the "vip" lounge where there were tv's that were not on, that she was not welcome to hear any information that was being shared with me. Hello,We believe this is a misrepresentation of the situation. Over the phone, there were discrepancies with your vehicle that needed to be rectified before we could conduct the transaction. You agreed to have those issues fixed, and when the vehicle arrived, the issues were not fixed. In addition, there were also several error codes that had not been disclosed, and had been cleared only a few miles before the vehicle was brought into the dealership.We were very upfront and clear about the transaction, and unfortunately, the vehicle did not arrive in the agreed upon condition, which materially changed the trade-in value we were able to give it.Review from Mark R

I really wished I had read these reviews before I had wasted my time trying to do business with this dealership. Ended up having some of the same experiences as others. Inquired on line about several units. Was called and set up appointment to look at them and after traveling a good distance was told every B.S. excuse of why they didnt have them available. Then offered other units at a higher price. Oldest car dealer trick in the book. Ended up buying vehicle not far down the road at another dealership with more options at a cheaper price.Review from Brandi W

Would leave zero stars but not an option. I have been a loyal customer with ********************** ********************** for over 10 years. I made an oil change appointment as I drive over an hour for this dealership needless to say we had to sit i our car for 20 minutes before we were helped. I needed an oil change and for them to tighten a s**** on the back wiper blade. Over 3 hours of waiting and my husband checking on my car we were finally told they couldnt fix the s**** My husband simply asked the service rep how a scheduled oil change took 3 hours. She couldnt answer and sent us to the manager is was a complete jerk. The only answer he had was this isnt a perfect world and told us to not comeback. They were completely rude and unprofessional. I will never go back to this business as they have gone hill the last couple years and now I will probably never buy another GM again.Review from Donna H

We took our car to Laura Buick ************* for a check engine light, after over three try and three months we finally got our car back. When we took our car there it was only for the check engine like after the second time we got our back we notice oil leaking and the check engine light was on. We brought our concern to the service ***** They took to car in again kept it for another month. We she call they said they had to unplug something and it was a cylinder in the oil that was leaking it was not leaking when we first brought the car to them. We have all ready paid these people over $5,000.00 dollars and know they want more money. I feel they keep nickle and dimming ** until they get every ***** they can.Review from Mark T

Regarding airbag recall work at Laura Buick in ************ ** - ********************** destroyed the dash in my truck and pretty much said have a nice day, were not responsible for any damage to the dash during airbag recall work. The manufacture is well aware that the inferior model car plastic that the dash is made of on a $55,000 truck is not made to last over 3 years or any future maintenance without breaking or cracking and no plan other than change the airbag and leave the dash in pieces and not be responsible. What does this say about GMCs professional grade? So every time I get in my truck Im reminded of the day I took my truck to Laura Buick to get what should have been a simple part change. All good for the dealership you made money installing the airbag and know it will cost me around a $2,000 to get a new dash. So no Im not happy and will not be any time I drive my GMC truck that rattles. Plus Im ashamed to face the people that Ive referred to your dealership that also purchased vehicles and pray they dont get a recall or need any kind of repair work Laura Buicks incompetent team does. The manufacturer should be responsible to replace the dash on the vehicles since they used inferior material and didnt do the recall for 6 years or so which allowed the dash in my truck to deteriorate to the point it was already getting brittle and cracking. I have taken very good care of my truck (for 12 years ****** miles) and it is in excellent condition other than the now demolished dash. If GMC decides to not right this for me I will not purchase vehicles from them in the future. I have purchased two from Laura Buick and referred family and friends there. I will make sure to share my experience and dissatisfaction from Laura Buick/GMC with any and everyone possible in the future. So its up to the manufacturer to change the outcome of my experience and satisfaction. (And who knows how many more.)***********************Review from Jon A

Terrible experience with this dealer. I contacted a sales person via their online inquiry from their website. Someone emailed very quickly. I told them the vehicle I was interested in and sent them my trade in information. I did not hear back from them that evening (Thursday) but it was near closing time so I let them pass on that (a quick note saying they would get back to me tomorrow would have been nice). The next morning (Friday) I do not hear back from them so I called the sales person before noon. They said they were working on it but the truck I inquired about is no longer available BUT they have another like it conveniently $2k more coming in the next month. I get a call back late in the day and they say they have a trade in number but he wants to talk to one more person and try to get it higher. I told him to email me the deal sheet with the trade numbers so I can see it on paper. I have not heard back from the sales person since. Saturday morning a customer service person emailed me asking if I had been taken care of. I quickly responded back that morning saying I had not been taken care of and requested that a different sales person contact me. I received a quick email back from that same person and they said they would let their manager know. The dealership is now closed for the day and I have not heard from anybody, now after multiple days. I posted a ****** review in which someone from the dealership responded with completely incorrect information. I have asked over 5 times for the owner's or GM's contact information through one of their customer service reps but they have not responded to me. Hi ***,Your original request for information came in on 5/11 at 7:19 PM. Our sales person responded to you via email on 5/11 at 7:21 PM, 2 minutes later. Our sales person followed up to his email by leaving you a voicemail on 5/11 at 7:38 PM. You both then exchanged emails regarding your trade-in that evening. The following day you had a lengthy conversation from our sales person at 9:29 AM. I am providing a timeline because everything we do is timestamped and you are stating false information in this review. You did receive communication from our sales person the night of your initial request and then again the following day. There was never a delay in communicating with you. In our conversation with you, you communicated that you wanted a value for your trade-in that we were not comfortable with. You were requesting at or over MSRP for your truck and our sales consultant explained to you that our **** dealership has similar vehicles to yours for sale at $2,500 below sticker price. Unfortunately we were too far away on the trade-in value to agree on a deal. The sales person has still not reached out to me with my request of wanting to see the deal on paper. 2. Your customer service person has not responded to my repeated requests for you or your owners contact information. 3. We think theyre great. When we got down there we were pleasantly surprised how smooth it went . We bought a truck there and we brought down my mother and she purchased a suv. We purchased a 2020 GMC Canyon from ***** ***** in March 2020. We purchased the extended warranty and a maintenance package also at that time. The truck is LESS than 2 years old and all back tail lights went out in the same week. We went to our local ******** and OReillys to purchase these said bulbs and they DO NOT SELL THESE due to age of vehicle. We went to another GMC dealer in ******** and purchased the lights for $26.00. When we went to change them, the old lights worked, so we scheduled an appointment with ***** ***** to fix the "electrical issue" since bulbs did work and all lights went out same time. We had to wait 6 days to take in so we could not drive truck at night, which was another issue. They had the truck for 3 days and then told us the bulbs were just bad and nothing was wrong with truck, then charged us $302.00 to change the said light bulbs. A claim was made that same day with GM customer service and all they want to do is offer us POINTS for oil changes (which we have a maintenance plan for remember) or toward purchase of another vehicle!!Then the very NEXT day the back up light went out on drivers side. GM still says this is a maintenance issue and still does not think there is an electrical issue. ***** ***** said to bring truck in and they will check again, but would cost $70 for them to check if nothing was wrong and another $64.00 to change another light bulb. NO THANK YOU! Also, with extended warranty we were to always receive loaner car when we brought in for oil changes or work, but they were always some how OUT OF LOANERS, or person scheduling wouldn't **** that we needed a loaner. They are a joke and so is GM customer service agent *****. To offer us "points" for another GM anything is an insult. I will not purchase another GM product or use ***** ***** for any issues we have with this truck in future.Laura Buick-GMC, Inc. Response
