I discovered water coming through my drywall ceiling and onto the basement carpet. I thought it was a burst pipe and called a plumber. He quickly determined the pipe wasn't burst and the problem was upstairs in the laundry room with the washer. He recommended I call Werner to get things dried out and ready for repair. Werner had a team at my house an hour and a half later. They got things dried out, removed drywall ceiling and along the wall that were damaged. Also removed a couple rows of tile to get to the subfloor and get it dried out. This process took a week or 10 days. Werner personnel checked everyday. Quickly got an estimate to repair and filed the insurance claim. Repairs went well. It always takes longer than I would like, but now that the job has been done for a month and I'm settled back into my routine, it's all good. I would absolutely use Werner again. They were quite fair to me. Primary guys in the repair phase were *** (PM), **** and **** (**********). Very happy with the way things turned out.

We hired Werner for water damage that occurred due to a backed-up sewage pipe, that also broke. Werner was hired because we were told by the project manager that they would start the mitigation/demo job within a week and get it done in 2 days. They did not start the job for 3 WEEKS! It was excuse after excuse and absolutely NO communication! They also showed up and entered our home on a day we were told they could not come (breaking and entering).They pulled our kitchen floor up and left ALL the staples and wood pieces covering the floor. We have two small kids and two dogs, an extremely dangerous hazard. Negligent and fraudulent practices... putting it nicely. My husband had to examine the entire kitchen floor and hammer down all the staples. I repeatedly asked to speak to the owner regarding the negligence and lack of communication regarding ANYTHING going on at our house, and was transferred from manager to manager, never talking to who I asked for in the first place. Eventually getting a call from a man named *****, who only interrogated me on everything I told them; not to mention he was the fourth person I had to tell about the issues we had at our house with Werner employees and services. ***** tried to correct me on things I stated happened but was unsuccessful since I had proof of everything I was claiming.***** was the rudest and most unprofessional individual I have ever encountered in a professional setting. He believed they should be paid close to $5K for 2 days of work, regardless of the services provided, the fraudulent practices that occurred, & their overall negligence. We fired Werner before the project was completed, and somehow the final bill came out at $1,000 MORE than it was with all the services; adding random charges and editing photos to meet their wants, photoshopping imperfections and damage they caused or left (which is criminal fraud). A lawsuit is absolutely in the picture at this point.DO NOT HIRE WERNER FOR ANY SERVICES!

Im giving Werner five stars only because it doesnt give me the option of rating them higher than that - and they deserve it. Everyone we dealt with at Werner (******, ****, *****, *****, *****, ********, ******, and everyone else I may be missing) was absolutely fantastic on both the mitigation side and the restoration side. Not only did they do a wonderful job, they delivered everything exactly as they promised. They took what we saw as a nightmare and relieved us of as much stress as possible. They also did a great job of working with our insurance. We definitely recommend Werner!
