I have been on workers comp for over a year with Corvel. Im supposed to be paid weekly and for some reason my case manager waits 3 weeks to pay me, especially around holidays. Her name is *********************. Its really hard to keep up with my bills while Im off work. I cant work Im disable. Every time I get in contact with her she lies and says shes going to send me my benefits but she does it when she wants to. It is not fair, I feel like ** getting punished for being hurt at work. Please help put an end to this adjusters madness.

am reporting *** for his unprofessional conduct, mishandling confidential personal information, intentionally delay processing my claim, and willful incompetence assisting me in my claim for reimbursement for repairs to my vehicle from a pothole on a road in **** County in July 2021. Despite promptly providing everything requested from me, after six months of weekly calls and emails asking what else was needed to move my case forward, the offer he provided was shamefully inadequate and based off a mixture of quotes from two different auto shops. But I cant simply get half the work done at one shop and the rest of the work done at the other shop, and *** knows this! Nevertheless, over six months after filing my claim, he gave me only 14 days to either accept the offer or reject it with no alternatives. I pointed out the fallacy of the logic underlying the offer but to no avail. I asked for more time to consult an attorney to evaluate my options, but he refused. Over the months, my family, friends, and I have spent thousands of dollars on alternative modes of transportation and lodging in efforts to help me get to work and see my newborn baby, I soon lost my job as a direct result of not having access to my car and have now incurred thousands of dollars of storage fees from leaving my car at the shop while *** dragged his feet on processing my claim. The standard of service clearly stated on the **** County website is 90 days to resolution, but this took over six months and I was forced into accepting an insulting offer under duress. Bobs bad faith efforts have created unnecessary hardship and had devastating consequences on my family.

Client ********* **** Claim No. 1486-GL-21-0300011-001 Claimant: *************************** Date of Loss: 5/27/2021 CorVel has denied further payment on this claim with no basis or explanation as to why they only paid and covered the rib fracture portion of the claim under the medical payments coverage of this policy but yet at the same time, they have refused to pay for any of the chiropractic medical portion of the claim under this same medical payments coverage policy. I have been advised by CorVel via regular mail that theyve reviewed this claim thoroughly twice yet nothing whatsoever has been explained as to how it is justified for CorVel to only pay one part of this valid claim and not the other. As CorVel has stated, the medical payments coverage is up to $5000.00 and to date they have only paid approximately $60.42 on this claim leaving $4939.58 available to pay out under this medical payments coverage. It doesn't seem just or fair for CorVel to authorize payment on one part of the claim but not the other. CorVel already has medical documentation showing **************** at Twin Cities Orthopedics stated that I was to avoid chiropractic for at least 6 weeks from the date seen and diagnosed with the injury on 6/9/2021. As a result of my being instructed to wait at least 6 weeks, it is not unreasonable to seek treatment just beyond 90 days from that diagnosis which CorVel also failed to show me anywhere in their policy where it is stated that that is unreasonable. They have no legal basis to deny this medical payments coverage. Nothing was unreasonable as you can see in the attached letter, therefore, they should not be allowed to pay for one part of this claim and nothing towards the other part. I fully expect this claim to be paid in full. CorVel has chiropractic bills in hand totaling approximately $5200.00 that all pertain to this 5/27/2021 incident.
