I hired blue line forestry to come out and remove a dead tree from my yard including grinding the stump, cleaning up and hauling everything away including what they grinded from the stump. They removed the tree and ran trucks all over my lawn leaving holes all over that they were supposedly going to backfill in when they did the cleanup and they removed the tree came up to the door and wanted the money and after I paid them told me they would be back over the weekend to finish the stump and clean up and backfill the weekend came and went I received a receipt that was inaccurate that did not have the additional $200 I paid for the stump removal on it and when I asked about it they said it was no big deal and they were still coming out to do it but they hadn't made it out that weekend because they were having a problem with their trucks and they would be out that week then that week came and went and the next weekend and they still hadn't come out and when I got frustrated about it they then told me because I was getting a smart tone with them that they weren't going to come out and finish the job and every tree removal service I have talked to since says that with the holes they left in my yard and the stump they left and the mess they left and the big huge hump around the stump they left it's going to cost me at least $1,000 to have it all done and repaired right and I told Blue line forestry this and all they did was make smart jokes at me and told me that they didn't want me calling and harassing them and they weren't going to do anything for me and they didn't care if I took them to small claims court. I would like them to repair the damage they did and finish the job that's all I wanted from the beginning. A simple job they could have finished in a couple of hours and I feel they ripped me off because I paid them in cash. All I wanted was for them to complete the job and fix the damage they did but after their behavior I think a refund would be best

    To whom it may concern.

I want to start and say that Mrs. ****** isn't to far off on the truth. But she definitely is stretching the truth and omitting quite a bit.

We did sign up to remove her tree and stump. We currently rent a stump grinder to complete the stump service. We only work with one rental agency due to

competitive pricing on rentals. We strictly use one company for that reason.

Unfortunately at the scheduled day for her removal, I was informed that the stump grinder was out of service.

Before starting the job that day, I informed Mrs. ****** of this.

She agreed to be placed on our stump list.

During this part of the conversation, I advised Mrs. ****** that we use this part of the job ( Stump grinding ) as filler work ( when we weren't scheduled out )

She was okay with that. Just so long as it gets done, she stated.

In response to her allegations that we kept her money and destroyed her yard. Not true.

First off, Big branches broken off and already in the yard and embedded into it.

We were able to perform most of the work from the driveway, So little to no machines were in her yard. we di not ruin her yard as she claims.

Now the issue regarding the money. I need to be clear about this, We don't take any money ahead of any job. Not as a down payment. Not, "Here I gotta go to work, I trust you guys to get the job done. Take this payment"

We don't take money upfront. Period.

Mainly for this very reason. Folks get impatient and think they can dictate the schedule because you have there money.

We had the ***** **** ******* hire us for a couple of jobs. 2 weeks after the completion of the jobs, We were issued a duplicate check. We promptly called them about the error.

Mrs. ****** tree was $2,500 for removal. $200 for the stump removal. That doesn't even cover the cost of the stump grinder rental.

We decided to sever ties with Mrs. ****** after her 3rd rude phone calls filled with threats.

The first phone call was a couple of days after the removal. We spoke to her again about scheduling, Politely. That call was filled with " My DaD is paying for this and he wants it done immediately. If I have to have him call you, I will! YOU DON'T WANT HIM CALLING YOU she spoke into the phone.

We talked with her and told her threats weren't the way to our services. That she hasn't paid for the stump to be removed, She could always seek someone else that could fit inside her time frame. She said no, She would stay with us, That she just wanted it done.

The 2nd call was filled with impaitence and more threats. This time to smear my company name with bad reviews and a call to the BBB. I asked her not to do that because I hadn't nothing wrong other than not removing the stump within her time frame. I explained that I'm a business with an already active and set schedule. Rain days, cold days all are scheduling nightmares. she was in a better mood at the end of that call.

The third call was the end of it. I asked her not to contact us and she could leave whatever her review was and would address any complaints as they came in.

I don't feel as if we owe anything to Mrs. ******. We didn't wreck her yard. We removed the tree for said price and didn't accept any more money than for what work completed. My integrity is worth more than $200 dollars.
