  Ketch KBF board purchased less than a year ago. Entire board is delaminating the cause to be salt water intrusion at the laser etched measuring lines. Have found many others with the same issue. No where on the website or on purchase page is there a warning about this issue. Board is garbage. Can't use. Contacted company. Called a liar that I did not purchase board new. Explained my wife bought it as a gift for me. Gave her name and same address they had for me in their files. Was called a liar. And told I caused the problem and they would not honor warranty. As well Ketch brand is the ONLY provider of a measuring board for 90% of fishing tournaments across the nation. Which is cornering the market and illegal. The customer service rep **** was nothing but arrogant and rude. This company is defrauding hard working Americans out of their money. They make a substandard product and should be taken to court for fraud and monopolizing a market which is illegal.

  On Sept. 14, I ordered a folding measuring board from Ketch Products in the amount of $90. I ordered a brand-new product directly from their website.Prior to placing my order, I had several questions that were not answered in the description provided on their website. I asked, Does it stay open and firm in the middle when it is opened, or does it need to be supported underneath of it to remain straight? He responded, It doesnt need to be supported. Its hinged into place. Ive included a screenshot of that exact message.A package arrived from Ketch on Sept. 19. I opened the package, and discovered that I received a used and damaged product NOT the brand-new product that I bought and paid for. Furthermore, the product did not match what I was told by the company. It in fact did have to be supported underneath, AND it did not hinge into place, as I was told. Again, I received the wrong product, a damaged product, and a product that did not match the description. Absolutely everything about this order and this product was wrong.I contacted the company about these issues on Sept. 19 after I opened the package.The company denied any responsibility of their misrepresentation and their false advertising. They said that if I wanted to return the item, they would charge me a restocking fee of $10 and I would have to pay for shipping of the return out of my own pocket. The postage would be $20.85. They are charging me more than one-third of the value of the item just to return it. Again, an item that they falsely advertised AND furthermore sent a significantly damaged item. I received a used and damaged item when I ordered and paid for a new item, and the item I received did not match the item that was advertised. When attempting to get a full refund for that item and return it due to the fault of the company and their agents for what they had done, they refused. My money is gone and I dont have the product I ordered.
