I got new glasses with high index lenses, they came in thick and heavy, I can see better with my 20 year old glasses. My old glasses are much thinner and lighter than the new ones.

When I picked up my frames they told me I didn’t owe anything and it was paid for. So I left and later they called and said I had to pay for frames. Well now my glasses are broken again and they want me to pay for the frames and the frames they told me I didn’t have to pay for.

I bought glasses from Bard Optical in Normal several months ago. When I went in I was told I couldn't just fill my current frames. This was terrible news since I'm on very limited income with my disability and Medicaid. Still, I purchased my first set of frames, that came with free sunglass. When my first set of frames came in both the sunglasses and regular frames had lenses falling out of them. They blamed it on my prescription, and told me that this is how they fit with prescription lenses. That's a lie. I finally convince them to send them back and get new lenses. They came back again slightly loose but at least they weren't falling out, I wore them for a few days and the frames were getting really wide on the temples. I went back in they again told me it was my prescription and it was normal, that's a lie. Finally they swapped them out again. When they came back again the lenses were loose yet again falling out of the glasses. Finally they told me I had to restyle into a certain frame that had a certain type of arm on the frame they could adjust. They had two options both designer and very expensive. I cried in the store. I had to borrow money, to pay. I kept asking for a refund. They said no. Finally they came in and the lenses were loose and the arm was falling off the ******* **** frame. They were slightly tightened and I was told to come back if it got loose again and they would replace them. They got loose again and I came back for replacement and one of the employees tried to charge me for the replacement, they are still under the warranty of Michael kors. I called corporate and said I wanted a refund I'm done with this I don't want your products anymore. I called corporate several times no resolution was ever made. I was always sent back to the store employees telling me that my lenses were loose because of prescription. That's never happened anywhere else. My opthamologist at OSF also says that's not true. I want a full refund. Nothing else.
