Came out to my home and was taking about my air conditioner unit couldn’t fix it and sent fake photos into the insurance company then when I called he started yelling and being baligurant and hung up the phone. Causing my unit to not be fixed

    Business response

    08/15/2023

This is a warranty Claim.  The warranty company sends us out to assess the unit.  We sent pictures to the warranty company.  Customer has not cleaned the unit.  So, the warranty company will not fix the unit and has denied the claim.

Date of the first transaction: 08/14/2021. Date of the second transaction: 06/30/2022. The amount of money I paid the business on the first transaction: $500.00. The amount of money I paid the business on the second transaction: $950.00. The business committed to provide to me a repaired and safe working air conditioning unit. The nature of the dispute is that after the business provided me their service to my air conditioner, my air conditioner failed again before a year was up from the time they provided me their service on 08/14/2021. Therefore, I had to pay another $950.00 to have the business service my air conditioner. The business was supposed to find and repair a freon/refridgerant leak if there was one, repair the freon/refridgerant leak, then recharge my air conditioner with freon/refridgerant. There was no evidence of the business looking for, finding or repairing a freon/refridgerant leak on my air conditioner. The business only recharged my air conditioner with freon/refridgerant both times they came to service my air conditioner on 08/14/2021 and 06/30/2022. I believe the business may know of a freon/refridgerant leak and is taking advantage of me by not repairing the freon/refridgerant leak and having me pay them hundreds of dollars to service my air conditioner only by recharging my air conditioner with freon/refridgerant and not repairing the root cause of the leak so I would not have to keep having my air conditioner recharged with freon/refridgerant. I asked the business if I would have to pay them again to service my air conditioner for the same reason they serviced my air conditioner less than one year ago and the business told me I would have to pay them no matter what the issue may be with the air conditioner. Since the business performed same service they did to my air conditioner with one year, I thought it was only ethical that I would not be charged for their service the second time.

The customer had gone through the warranty company and they denied him.  He reached back out to me and asked that I repair it for him.  We did not show up on or own or solicit him.  I told him that he should replace it, but he said that he did not have the money to buy a new one.  He requested we recharge it.  We put some stop leak in.  I told him it may develop other leaks with this process due to how old the system is and basic wear and tear.  He still wanted me to put in the Freon, so I did and he paid me.  We do not have any more responsibility than us servicing them originally.
