    Company did not finish job, delayed over three weeks, did not follow procedures set fortgh in contract.

    This customer has delayed the project in many ways:

                          *  Delayed our start date because of other remodeling projects he had going on. (Bathroom and Flooring)

                          *  Traveling out of town many times during the duration of the project, hence leaving no access to the property.

                          *  "Throwing the contractors out of his house when they were trying to complete the work because he was angry that they informed him that they would be a                            few hours  late. They were traveling from a  long distance, attempting to accommodate him by  squeezing in a same day appointment for him in their                                    schedule. 

                          * The material to complete the last portion of the job came up missing. When the installer arrived to complete the installation the material that had been left                           behind was missing from his residence.

                         *  The customer was informed that we would order the materials and come right out to complete the installation. He said he was leaving town and he would                             contact us upon his return to set an appointment.

                         * The customer has failed to contact us to set an appointment, which is continuing to delay the completion

     

    We have gone above and beyond to provide excellent customer service and the installation of a quality product for this customer. We have had many conversations where he has recognized and complimented this effort and the quality of the product.  

                       * Per our contract it was the customers responsibility to pay for all electrical and plumbing work for his project. However, we provided both services for him at no additional cost. We even advised him and repaired additional plumbing work that was not associated with our installation. We provided this at no cost to him. We also installed a garbage disposal for him at no cost. 

    We are anxious and prepared to complete the minor installation of trim work, which amounts to 12 inches of toe kick at the bottom of his cabinets. When he set's an appointment with us, we will complete the installation. 

    The cost of the installation was $19,000. That is the amount the customer is requesting as a settlement in this complaint. It's very unfortunate that he has taken this approach all things considered.
