Work performed on or about 2/10/23 to remediate sewer water damage in a finished basement. Deposit was required to begin work. Invoice provided on 3/16/23 for additional work beyond the deposit. Invoice is incomplete, lacking detail and does not include numbers of employees working or hours worked. This invoice was only for the additional work beyond the deposit for which there has been no back up provided despite repeated attempts to receive this information by email and phone. Company will no longer return calls or emails or provide further detail for filing an insurance claim. Company has now threatened to file a mechanics lien to obtain payment.

    Good Morning-

Our company provided emergency water mitigation services starting on 2/10/2023. At that time a deposit was required for services to begin as the customer stated she was not going through her insurance carrier. Services were completed on 2/14/2023. A completed line by line  itemized estimate with work that was completed as well as  her deposit credited was sent to the customer as well as a final invoice. On 3/28/2023 the customer sent an email stating that she was  going to submit the bill to an insurance company and wanted to have information sent to them. We said we would be happy to facilitate sending any and all information that the insurance company may need to them. The customer never gave ** that information. On 4/28/2023 customer reached out stating she needed an estimate to give to her insurance and we informed her again that we had sent that by email to her previously and if her insurance company needed anything further we would furnish all additional information. We never received any requests from the insurance company.  Customer has since paid in full her outstanding invoice for the work that we completed.

I was served a Lien Notice from ServPro of ******/************, **.My questions are: (1) How can ServPro demand the extra $4,838.60 difference, when the work hasnt even been completed? (2) And without an explanation in writing as to why the addition of such a high $ amount. (3) Why didnt they go thru ************************* for the extra $4,838.60 to be paid under the water damage claim? I feel intimidated with this DEMAND of $16,863.81 thru a Lien Notice being issued. I just want my house in pre-water damage loss nothing more and certainly nothing less. Desired Resolution: (1) Finish the Job and (2) Explain the overage Lien charges of $4,838.60.I appreciate any assistance that the BBB can give to settle this outrageous overage being demanded. Thank you, very respectfully - *************************

I am rejecting this response because:  it's almost 7 days since filling and I didn't want to miss the timeframe given to respond to my BBB filling.  ... The plumber hasn't called or made it out to house yet to make necessary repairs. Date and time is currently unknown. If plumber shows up sometime today and over the weekend to compete the job - I'll update the BBB filling. ...

Note: I am scheduled to be working from WI from ***** Jun and I won't see (if any) repairs took place until I return. ....

Kitchen window sill issue: action completed ...

    Paint splatters: action completed ...

Basement electrical outlet: action completed ...

    No attachments ....

    Sincerely,

We have been in contact with **************** and have confirmed that a plumber will be at her home on 6/16/2022 between 8:30 and 10:00 am. Although the plumbing problem being  addressed is not a SERVPRO issue, in good faith we have furnished a plumber to repair the issue so that this job can be completed to ******************** satisfaction.
