On 8/17/22, the company misrepresent their product; leaving my home dark with the unknown product used; never provided a written estimate, pressure me in my home to proceed with the install, failed to start the job till entire payment was posted on Pay Pal, lead me to believe that I would be getting a receipt after the job was completed, instead, he stated that a receipt will come in the mail within 7 days, the results were not what I expected, I never signed off on the finish work because no paperwork was ever presented. Thereafter he pressure me to go to the bank and get cash then he would discount the verbal estimate by $86.60, I refused, he wanted me to leave him and his partner in my home alone while I go to the bank and get cash in the amount of $700.00. This was not going to happen, failing to give a written estimate in doing business is unlawful, he had no evidence of the product he used claiming it was "LLumar" yet he gave me no sample or showed evidence of his work product, no business card or any paperwork. The following day I visit the company to verify the window tint and was told that he hadn't worked for the company in three years. He is now using the company street address, phone number and last four digits of his email address is the company last four digits phone number...that both companies still share but no affiliation according to "Shaded Days Autp" the other company? His truck states that he does automotive window tint as well, the other company claim they were not aware? After I filed a dispute today with Pay Pal and my credit union, someone sent me a receipt dated 8/15/22, I hadn't decided to use this company until 8:17/22 when they came out to allegedly give an estimate and assess the job, he pressure me to get the work done, repeating how far he traveled? Very poor service and business practice, leaving my home dark, I want a full refund, and go with an honest company,

Good afternoon, here is our response to the complaint.
Shaded Days, **** is a window tinting company.  On small projects we provide a telephone estimate.  If the telephone estimate is approved, we show up at the job site, verify the estimate, show samples and perform the installation.  AT NO TIME IS THE CUSTOMER UNDER ANY OBLIGATION TO PURCHASE THE PRODUCT.  From the moment we arrived she was trying to get me to match a competitor's price.  We do not price match. The customer selected a product called ****** after the first piece was installed the customer stated the product was to light.  She then selected a darker product called (DR15) for her kitchen and family room and a product called (DR05) for her bedroom.  SHE SAW THE SAMPLES AND SHE MADE THE SELECTION.  I explained to her that most people do not want a product that dark on a home. She insisted she wanted maximum privacy as well as maximum heat rejection. This conversation can be verified by a third-party witness. The customer watched our two-man crew perform the entire installation and never expressed any concern about the product being too dark. I only stock LLUMAR products, made by ******* ***************** Other products are available by special order only.  The photos show the LLUMAR boxes and warranty form with the product codes and lot number circled in red.  After the installation is complete, the paid invoice, warranty information, care instructions are sent via **** from our field office to the customer.  This process was also explained to the customer at the time of the installation. She also filed a complaint with PayPal and they reviewed our response and ruled in our favor
