    The roof on my home was installed just before I bought it around 2010. I contacted JB&D to have the 30 year warranty transferred over, to which they stipulated a 15 year warranty is transferred. At the time a leak had already been identified and after many calls someone dispatched, who spread tar on a valley. They wanted to ensure that fixed it before fixing inside, and I called back and let them know it did. Their suggested solution was to simply paint over the mold on the drywall ceiling and two adjacent walls, not even look above the ceiling. They did not return to do the interior drywall or paint work, I ended up doing it myself after many calls. Another leak was identified around the same time and I called many more times, an even split of no answer or talking to a secretary or two, one named *****. I was assured over a dozen times that my messages were being given to the manager etc and they would contact me. I began calling again and reached the secretary on July 19th, and have not been able to reach anyone since then, and no callbacks. My roof leaks from a very bad flashing job near an eave, and is now a soft spot on that area. To add insult to injury, JB&D salesmen have been to my door more than once and I voiced my issue to them as well, who said they would inform their manager. During the covid years JB&D informed me they use a 3rd party for repairs and that they're short staffed.

    Our production manager ***** **** has been in contact, ordered the shingles we need for the repair.  ***** will contact the homeowner once we receive the materials and complete the service.

    Purchased three doors and a large window from JB&D. The front door and storm door. have never worked correctly. In fact, when the workers came to install the doors, they did not bring any tools. Had to use ours. The storm door fell off six weeks ago and we were promised it would be replaced. There have been excuses and no door. The front door is now exposed to the elements. Was told this week that it would be another six weeks before they could get a door. They are a door and window company -six weeks to get a door??? The front door is not hung correctly as it drags on the floor when opened and is difficult to open. I know that we paid twice what another company would have charged.

    **** ****** alerted ********** that his storm door  & door needed serviced on 2/23/2022.  Wanda let him know that it may be a bit we do not have a full time service technician.  Our installers take care of services between jobs and we will get there ASAP.  ***** ***** was out on 3/21/22 to fix the door handle & adjust the door.  He stated that the wind had caught the door and broke it off.  David Prior tried to adjust the fix the door but he determined a new door would be needed.  We tried to purchase a door from Ace hardware but the only have white & we need a black door.  Brock ordered a new storm door on 4/19/22 with a manufacture warranty.  The door has to be manufactured from HGI.  The door can take up to 4 to 6 weeks to be made an delivered to our warehouse.  Once we have the new door he will be contacted for an install date.
