June 15 I called the company and asked if 26a would be big enough to store a wrangler hard top/ doors and panels. I was told yes it would and I rented the unit that day online. I was at happy joes with my family and stepped out to call. Sunday June 16 we went to the storage unit and noticed it was indeed way to small for what we needed it for. I called and was told they were closed Sunday. We got online and rented a bigger unit 69. Put all our items in there and placed our lock. Less then two weeks later maybe a week we went back and put the top and doors and all the things back on the jeep. Monday June 17 I called the company told them about the mix up. The gentleman was very nice and said what he could do is credit the unit( 69) for the$34 26a cost us. Ok awesome thanks. June 30 my husband and I were on vacation we did not catch it - we were charged $6.40 for 26a. July 16 I called again talked to a lady. Told her all the information. I was charged $41 for 26a and the insurance fee. I never uploaded the insurance for that unit because I never officially rented it. Never put anything in it or a lock. I noticed the same day that they pulled the $41 for 26a that $71 was pending for 69. When I mentioned that to the lady about how 26a should have been canceled June 17 when I called and cancel 69 today June 16, 2024. They never canceled it. Wont refund me and I had to cancel my debit card so they did not pull money out again. According to them all calls are recorded and monitored but yet they dont or cant show proof I called!? I feel like they are taking advantage of people. There is no way to talk to anyone in upper management although they said they would have someone get back to me and nothing. They legally owe me ***** as of now. I had to cancel my debit card to insure thing else came out now I have to wait for a card and any bills that try and post from that card are now going to fail.

I had rented a storage unit from Milan Storage last summer (June 10). I paid $540, for a full year of the unit I had (unit ***). Now, having decided to stay full time here in *******, I flew up to the Quad Cities, on May 5, 2023 and completely emptied the unit the morning of May, 6, by 6:30am. At the time I rented this unit (I had had another unit previously #***) that I consolidated to #***, a smaller unit.I called the phone number and was surprised to find out the storage facility had been sold, or at least that's what I was told on 3 separate phone calls. When I rented this #*** unit, I asked that if I was to move out early, would I be able to get a refund for the unused portion. I was told that I would, by the owner at that time, *******************. That refund should be $45 per month, for the 2 months I exited the unit, for a total of $90. So, I've called now 3 different times *************), and spoke to 3 different people. Each time, I was told that they would check into it, and call me back. I have yet to receive a call back from anyone. I'd like to know what is going on, and the status of a refund. This has gone on now for a month and a half, and yet no one has ever called me back. I also have tried numerous times sending an email, but for whatever reason, they do not go through. This is totally ridiculous. Thanks for any help you may be.
