I have an active account with AB ******************** with available funds of $156.25 and I have repeatedly requested to provide me with some of their services and it has been over a year since I have sent them my funds. I recently received a message from AB Services from one of their associates name Alexus offering me one of their services and it is dated 9/29/24 and when I replied to this on the same day I received it I never received a response. I also inquired about my funds on the account. Apparently I am being ignored.Initial Complaint

In or around April 2023, I sent AB Services $35.00 for a basic messaging plan and a 25 pack relay add on. They still haven't started my plan. I was communicating with them regarding why they haven't started my plan but I have since met those requirements but they still haven't started my plan. Mr. ******** plan is already in place to start. Customer wanted us to start a new plan while current one was ongoing. It states in our brochures and email communication that once your plan ends you can get a new one, you can not have more than one going at the same time. Once the current plan ended, it automatically rolled over to the new plan. Because customer had already informed us what he wanted to do with funds. Customer stopped sending messages waiting for us to tell him plan ended. But since ******* has a membership with us, all communications continue and once the end of plan happens, we inform customer with their next message that new plan has started. Thus actually giving a free relay in the process, which was unable to happen in this case due to no messages being sent.
We informed customer with a email in August, stating that we would let him know when the new plan started. It actually has not started yet because no messages have been sent. With the very next message that is sent out is when the new plan kicks in and informs our system to let customer know plan started. See below for email informing customer that account was noted and the new one would start when current ends:

These are admitting they have my money ($96.25) and stating that I am "active." This is "true" however and more they are "not" rendering services.
They want you to "think" that all is fine.
They did the "same" thing in response (and got by with it) the last time I filed a complaint.
You see from the last letter I sent you that there was money on my account! However, I was "not" afforded their services (they are trying to pull the wool over your eyes).
Here are more dates of "request" that I have done "searches," "attorney finders," "people finders," etc. Dates only reflect 2023 - 4-25-23/ 7-21-23/ 8-9-23/ 8-21-23 (2 times)/ 8-22-23/ 8-26-23 (2 times) and 8-28-23 (2 times).
Please don't let them "lie" there way out of this again.
I wish to update my complaint as to the total dollars that I am asking that AB services owes me.

UPDATE:
This is Mr. ******** account history. He has made an order and those services have been rendered. It is up to him if he chooses to finish using those services. We will not refund any partially used services. Our terms also list in our brochures and in our emails no refunds. Is able to use the remaining funds on any of our services in compliance with our terms of service.

This is the second time that I have filed a complaint against AB Services (ID No. ********) was assigned to this one.
I've tried to explain to your offices that these people are telling you everything that you want to hear.
They tell you that my account is open and active, that they are rendering services to me. However, yes, my account is open but out of revenue for filing the complaint. They are not processing any of my request.
Your office thinks because they are doing their job. No, they are not. I've explained this! This has been going on since about April 2022.
They have nearly 100% of my money. Please listen to me! They are not rendering any service, and because of this I am asking this I am asking for my money back! $96.25 is a lot of money.
You stated in your first letter that you can refer me to other agencies that can assist me. Please do so for me.
I am not the only one with issues about AB Services. Just the only one pushing to right the wrong.
P.S. I don't think you understand? This is a service that is offered to people that are incarcerated. We have no other avenues.

I sent this company $57.70 in January and they're refusing to respond to any of my emails or letters. I ordered a gift for Valentine's Day, message relays and a free book profile set up. I don't want their business just my money back. Can you assist me in contacting them please? The receipt will show I paid for it, and their brochure is enclosed!Business response

Hello, We have been corresponding with Mr. ****** via email. He has ordered our services incorrectly and caused a delay in our company responding. A gift has been ordered, shipment was delayed but the order has been received. After that purchase his account has a remaining $35.75 to apply to services. ****** services were ordered, but which one to apply to was not disclosed. A message relay add-on was also ordered, however our brochure and emails clearly state a plan must first be ordered before an add-on can be applied, this has been relayed thru emails as well. Also, clearly stated in our brochure and emails we do not offer refunds. Any money on account may be applied to any of the services that we offer. We have let Mr. ****** know through email that his account is at a current standstill because of incorrect and incomplete information in his original order.Initial Complaint

AB Services provides text message services to inmates in prison. Multiple messages have been sent by inmate ***** ******* after he purchased the service advertised by AB Services but they have not been delivered. ***** ******* has contacted the company and has not gotten a response. If *****'s messages are not delivered, then he needs to be refunded his payment.Business response

Services that Mr. ******* ordered are being provided. Messages have been going back and forth. Mr. ******* has not alerted us that there was an issue or that had a complaint thru the email service that our messages go back and forth on. We did receive an email from him on 1/31 asking questions about his account. On 02/03 a full explanation was given to him on those questions. Messages are being delivered that Mr. ******* has sent, he has even gotten replies from some of them. We have no control over if a person responds or not. If there is a question of a message being sent. Customer may send the name and number and we will provide the exact date, time and phone number used to send the message. If need be a snapshot can be taken to prove messages were indeed sent from our service that include such info.Initial Complaint

I ordered pictures from this company. They were confiscated. I told them I could only receive five photos per envelope. I paid $51.49 for the pictures. I filled out the confiscation form and sent it back to them.Business response

We do our best to adhere to all rules of each different facility. Our original disclaimer that was put upon the pictures was not accepted by **************** facility. 5/18/22 Hello, I**;m writing in regards to the Non-Responses I**;ve been Dealing with from A Company Called "H34313631303030**3537H " Based out of ************, ** Phone #************. I sent payments on 2 different occassions, the first being in Dec of 21 for the purchase of a Bucket Bag. I was sent an E-Mail in March, that it was An Issue with the color from their Supplier, And Submitted A New Color. My Gift still hasnt **** Recieved By my loved one. And the Company Isnt Responding To my E-mails, or letters. So like a fool I ********************** They Provide what Are Message Relays last Mnth, And still I haven**;t Gotten Any Response or Notification from them. Hello,
This has been resolved with the customer. Items received and communications with customer are happening. The messaging system proves to be slow at times delaying messages back and forth as all messages have to be approved before released.
Our company is here to help with any issues that *** arise and strive to provide inmates the services that they would not otherwise be able to receive at the lowest cost possible.

I sent AB Services a $15.00 prison check in which they received on October 6, 2021. They sent me a contact and email on 10-6-21 on my prison tablet. I placed an order of photoshop pics. In an email they said they would send a brochure that has some samples on them. Got 1 pose along with 1 photo and 1 printout for $300. I ordered 4 poses. I never received anything. I wrote them 4 or 5 times. I sent emails and Facebook messages 4 or 5 times. Want to be refunded my $15.00. I wrote them 10-15-21, 11-15-21 and 12-28-21.Business response

We received correspondence from Mr. ******* regarding doing a photoshopped photo. We had no brochure showing samples, but let him know we would try to get something together. Photoshopping in new in our practice. He sent 3 additional emails to us saying exactly what was wanted including that he wanted us to use a photo that was on his facebook page, which we do not have access to. He did not want his idoc photo used. We had nothing to work with. We do not offer refunds as stated on our brochures. We can resolve to complete this task if a picture is provided. My name is ***************************, and I am writing you to lodge a formal complaint. A company known as AB Services: P.O. ************************** 62864-0029. The basis of my complaint stems from AB Service's failure to fill the purchase orders with requests to two separate purchase orders that I paid for, and then subsequently keeping the finance totaling $37.80, the amount I sent for the two separate purchase orders. Several months ago I ordered some gifts from AB Services for my granddaughters. The company's policy is that it takes 2-6 weeks from purchase order for delivery. However, it's now been several months and the gifts that I purchased still have not been delivered to the shipping address: ******* *****, *****************************************
The first purchase order that I sent to AB Services was approx. 5 months ago. I ordered a birthstone princess ******** with crown jewelry box: Item# J-5000, purchase price $12.95, then in a separate order approx. 3 1/2 months ago I ordered a ********************* bear: item (H) a vintage butterfly ring: Item#J-7055; and an adjustable ******* double heart bow cuff opening bracelet: Item#J-2002. The purchase price of the three items as it pertains to the second purchase orders is $37.80. AB Services has basically stolen $37.80 from me and failed to fill the orders and ship the gifts. I have attempted to communicate with AB Services several times regarding this matter to no avail! AB Services never acknowledges my inquiries as to the status of my purchase items. They have failed to ship the gifts and refuse to return my money. I believe that AB Services is essentially a Ponzi scheme of sorts operating under the guise of a legitimate business for the purpose of scamming unsuspecting prisoners out of finance, because prisoners have no one to turn to for assistance after they have been scammed out of their money.
It had been 5 months since the purchase order of the first gift, and 3 1/2 months since the purchase order with regards to the purchase of the three gifts of the second order, which is why beyond the company's policy of 2-6 weeks from purchase order for delivery and yet AB Services has failed to honor it's obligation and fill the purchase orders and ship the orders, nor have they returned my money $37.80. I would like your office to investigate my claims, and I would like the gifts to be shipped immediately, and or the $37.80 to be returned back to me.

There will be a delivery confirmation to insure it is delivered to the address indicated.
