Roof replacement, gutters, downspouts. Contractor did not finish the job & the brand new roof leaks. He has threatened to put a lein against my home if he does not receive the 2nd insurance payment. I have asked him to finish the job & have also informed him that the roof ********** chooses to ignore that information & only focuses on payment & putting a lein against my home. Roof & gutters were done in July. He did not do downspouts that was on the ************** crew damaged parts of the facia & also left satellite cords dangling when they were tightly secured before tearing off the old roof. He has told me the job is finished & I told him that it wasn't. He has told me to hire someone else to finish the work even though he is expecting full payment from the insurance company. I now have to hire another company to fix his leaking brand new roof & finish the work that he left including the areas now damaged that weren't when the job first began.Customer response

We have been trying to meet with homeowner and she has been unfortunately working off emotion. We have attempted many times and she has also gave us a time she has canceled. If there was a leak we need to address it asap that she canceled with us. We have filed a lien because the owner was mad We were not doing work that the insurance did NOT pay for and unfortunately we do not do work for free. We also have info and an email from the adjuster from the insurance as well that did mention possibly paying for the drywall, but that isn't the type of work we preform. We only wanted to be paid for the work we performed. The leak "issue" came weeks after and she has refused us to come to her at any appointment. Truly hope this can be taken care of asap. Our company has tried reaching out several times and she has refused for us to meet her. We believe at this point it might be a rational issue and would like to settle this ASAP.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: This is untrue from the contractor. He states that the conversation regarding the leak came weeks after & attached are the emails as proof. After he was @ my house on July 15th & I informed him in person that the job was not completed, instead of addressing it while he was there he stated that he would call the next day. He never did. Instead he emailed me a week later (after I asked for an update) & informed me via email that the job was complete when he knew the last conversation we had was that I still had unfinished work. He emailed me on July 24th. My response back to him was the exact same day & that is when I notified him there was a leak. This is just one example of the lies that he has told. He was given an opportunity to come back & address the issues and as I dealt with on a daily basis he couldn't even pay attention to any kind of details. The time was in the email & he asked over & over about the time. My initial call to this contractor was because of the leaky drywall & a broken soffet. Neither of which he fixed. He took pictures of both areas in March. Never once did he inform me that he "doesn't do drywall work" until after he emailed me on July 24th. The drywall was the entire reason I knew I had damage. I see no evidence from the contractor on his claim from the adjuster.
Sincerely,

**************** has fabricated this situation. Unfortunately we have reached out and she has denied our calls & our emails that clearly stated us to meet at 630pm. Part of her email is true she did send that..... but we didn't review it for a few days. There was NO CALLS INTO OUR COMPANY, we also have tried to call her multiple times which they were ignored. At this point we have taken legal action due to this issue. I have reached out PERSONALLY as an owner and she has rejected every point due to a missed email. To be honest serious matters mean direct communication and we didn't receive that. She has refused non stop for our warranty out of anger. I am sorry that it has come to this point. We as a company truly care and that's why this response ISNT A ROBOT LIKE ANSWER. We have been trying to fix this issue and she has refused everything. Which make us believe that there isn't an issue. We haven't received anything besides a "Don't come here I'm done with you type email" AFTER we were suppose to meet.

Complaint: 22137732Once again untrue. I have been the only one that has provided documentation to support the claim that I initiated. I am left hiring another company to complete the work that was unfinished as well as fix damages left by Admireable's crew. He was made aware of this immediately as shown & I insisted on communication through email as each time I spoke to him he couldn't remember or chose not to remember previous conversations including, showed up to my house on July 15th (witness present) to collect a check that he had already received & deposited. He did not believe me & didn't trust what I was telling him. Everything about my business with him has been both unethical & fraudulent. There is no emotion or anger, this is business plain & simple & I have been taken advantage of & I thought the BBB was in place to protect consumers from scammers such as this.
I am rejecting this response because:

The siding of my home was done in June 2014 by this company formerly ******** Contractors. I contacted them on 12/6/2023 because the siding all around the house is pulling apart. The person I spoke, assumed to be the owner seemed responsive and assured me that although the company had changed name in 2016, that they would most definitely honor the warranty of work. He asked that I send him some pictures and I did immediately. He promised he would come out on 12/7/2023 and assess the problem. He did not show up at the time of his appointment on 12/7/2023, so I called him. I was told his daughter was ill but he would come out the following Monday, again he didn't show up. After numerous calls and texts, he finally sent me a text message on January 25th, 2024 and said he was out of town and that I should call him the following Monday. Since then I have been calling and texting him with no success. I just want the company to stand by their workmanship and repair the existing problem.Business response

This job was done by a previous company we worked with. This voids our warranty unfortunately and our warranty. The company was called ******** contractors usa. We are admirable Home Improvement ***************** Diffrent address. If she would like to supply any and all of her documents that would prove us correct. Unfortunately we will need to charge for this and this was sometime 10 years ago that this work was completed by that company. When it comes to storm damage once again this needs to go through insurance. If they are willing to cover costs we are glad enough to come and help but this is not a warranty we cover. Thank you.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I personally spoke to the ***** from Admirable Home Improvement on December 6th, 2023. He told me ******** Contractors had changed and is now operating under a new name. I asked him when the name change took place and he told me in 2016. I then asked him about the warranty and he said the warrant would definitely be honored soi took him at his word and trusted that he was being honest. He asked for pictures which I sent him and he made promises to come out on three separate occasions but never showed up. Never did he ever denied honoring the warranty. If he had told me this when we first spoke I would not have been trying to call him. I think that the company should honor the warranty of their work and ***** should stand by his word. Basically, I am being told that because the company change name they are not obligated to the warranty. I was only able to reach the new company because I had the information from the original company which means that they have changed the company name to avoid their obligation. This is very unfair and he should have been up front with me when we first spoke rather than leading me on and then ghosting me (not responding) I would like this to go to mediation.
Sincerely,
