On June 9th, 2023 we hired Fresh Coat Painters to paint the interior of our home in **********, **. The project manager, *******************, and his crew started work on June 14th,2023. The project manager and crew of Fresh Coat Painters; A) left us with so much trash that we paid $569.00 for an outside ******* to haul it away, B) damaged our property and argued with us when we asked them to properly protect our floors and furniture, and C ) were so disorganized that they did not finish a single room even though a crew of 3 (on average) worked for 6 days. All of our claims are documented.Neither the franchise owner, ************************* or the president of the national franchise,*******************, has followed up as promised. We paid them a deposit of $3,386.71 ($2,627.56 on 6/12/23 and $759.15 on 6/15/23). Unfortunately I can no longer accessthe automated/Google receipt they sent us via email. We want our money returned to us including the $569.00 we paid for haulage. We have to pay another company to correct/redo and finish the work. After 6 days of this nonsense it was clear that Fresh Coat Painters was incapable of and unwilling to, complete the work in a professional manner. The crew demonstrated untrustworthy and bizarre behavior. We no longer felt safe having them in our home.We ended the job/canceled the remaining work and asked them to leave by 4PM on June 21st, 2023. We sent them a text (included/uploaded with other supporting documents below) that clearly states our desire to be fair and to do right by Fresh Coat Painters despite the terrible job that they did.Fresh Coats Painters response to our email? Instead of dealing with these issues in a professional manner, Fresh Coat Painters (******************* and his crew) retaliated and we returned home at 4:30PM to find that they deliberately left us with all of their garbage.

    Business response

I Attached the letter from my attorney, as he is handling *********************. We can provide additional documentation if you require it. Fresh Coat Painters performed their duties according to the contract that ********************* signed and agreed to.

    Thank you,
