On April 1st I checked into the Courtyard Chicago Oakbrook Terrace Hotel. On my way to the room I got off the elevator and there was loud music playing. Just so happen, my room was next to the guest with the loud music. The guest were loud, music playing, and kids and adults yelling and screaming. It was late and I was tired and had to be on the road in the morning so I called down to the front desk. She stated she would send someone to the room. Someone came to the room then they turned the music off, but the kids and adults continued to be loud, yelling and screaming. I called again. Still refusing to move me to another room. She stated that there should not be any more than 5 people in the room. I told her there were a lot of people in the room. She agreed to check. She went to the room and told them they were too loud. I heard the guest yelling racial slurs and stating that she was picking with them because they were black, some how the issue moved into the hallway. She knocked on my door and I opened the door and she then told the guest that I called and made the complaint which I felt she was putting me at risk. They came out of their room then they started yelling profanity at me. I told her she need to call the cops or move my room. It was 2 girls then a 3rd girl walked up. I went back in my room and grabbed my purse and asked her what she was going to do? Finally, I closed my door, they went back into the room, they started BANGING on my wall and KICKING the adjoining door. I felt I should not have to ask her several times to move my room. I felt very unsafe and felt she put my life at risk.
