Hired them to put in new stairs, they did not have village inspect per ordinance and did not complete the job correctly. Looks horrible, tried to contact them after they said they would come back and the numbers I had were no longer in service or I was blocked. They have made a mess refuse to fix or even speak with me. I need to hire someone to clean up mess and correct issues they made.

We signed a contract with Silverstond home improvements for $7500 to replace our asphalt driveway with concrete. I gave them $3750 to start and they jackhammered asphalt and hauled away pieces. On April 17, ***************************************** his truck attempted to haul asphalt. The cop then asked me if I am the homeowner and said theyve been dumping in Mr ****** restaurant dumpster. I called the company and was told we fired the crew and will get a permit. I had been told previously they had filed one. But didnt according to the police and the village. The company said theyre in process of getting it done. The company phone is unavailable at ************. I do have phone numbers to manager and a salesman. So my driveway is a mess and dont know if SilverStone will complete it. Id like a refund or finish the job. Please help me!Thanks,*************************

Hired Silverstone Home Improvements in March 2024 to remove a small stone patio and replace that patio with a 400 square foot stamped concrete patio. After paying $2,320 deposit on 3/29/2024, they began removing the existing patio by hand piling up the stones on my driveway/lawn. Then they began excavating the space for the larger patio, placing the soil in large trash bags and in piles on my lawn, which are still present. Before work began, I asked ******* ***************************** for his proof of insurance, business license and work permit - he stalled the conversations and never provided any proof, he then said the documents were all emailed to me, and the work will progress. On 3/30/24, they attempted to recycle my old patio stones into the foundation of the patio so they could use less concrete, reducing their overhead costs, I communicated this was unacceptable and not in the scope of the project. I asked for the stones to be removed and filled with new concrete that I paid for. The stones were not removed and used as a foundation filler. After the concrete was poured and stamped, I continued to ask for hard copies of the permit, never provided, Im convinced they never pulled a permit as they never request the plat of survey from me, they said they received the plat of survey from the county, and I didnt need to provide this. The nature of this dispute is the very poor quality, craftmanship and rework of the project that was promised but never received. In addition to all the trash bags full of soil and concrete bags left on my lawn, framing boards as well. Promised to remove the concrete that splashed onto my house. They repeatedly told me after being paid in full on 3/30/24 at 11pm, they refused to leave my property until they were paid, stressing they would return to remove all the bags of soil, soil mounds, framing scrap and rework the botched stamping, standing by Satisfaction Guarantee I'm left deeply disappointed, irritated. This business is fraudulent.

I purchased a new home and am looking to make 4 repairs to the house.1. Putting concrete in crawl space 2. Removing existing tile and new tile in basement 700 Sq Foot space 3. Sand and refinish the hardwood floor 4. Readjust pavers in driveway I am looking for a general contractor who would do this through ********************* who lists contractors on their website). After sharing my info on this website, NetworkX shared my info with this contractor. He called immediately to know he can do all this work. I told him to share a review of his work to which he pointed me at his website. On the website I saw a 4.7(out of 5) rating of 800+ reviews. I later found out that there are no actual references to this review and these are made up fake reviews. On 15th he visited house to provide me with estimate. He told me that its would cost me 19800$ to do all this work. And he give discount if paid is case. I dont remember how much that discount was. He demanded 9800 to be paid before work starts which was due on Saturday. I had 5000 on saturday and 4800 on monday morning when he started the work.I found the following problem with his work ethic 1. He has fake reviews on his website with no reference to actual reviews. On top he has 22+ years of experience while he himself was 25 year old.2. He continually demand more money through the week with pre-text of getting material 3. He was using a fake address(**********************************************************) on contract. When I asked a question about the address, He changed the physical address on contract after the contract was signed, He said there was an issue with my phone. He changed the contract while we were discussing the issue with the address. I had the original screenshot of the contract which has an old address. Same address listed on this website (Which he not aware of as of now)4. He hired immigrants (not sure they had any work permit) from ********* and ******* to work at my property. 4 of the workers told me he was paying 50$ for the entire day. None of the workers speak English, so I used ****** translator to talk to them. Even contractor used to give instruction through action On actual work 1. Putting Concrete in Crawl Space: I specifically asked him to use commercial grade concrete while he used hand made concrete. When he initially put concrete it was uneven. I had to request him to make it level 2. Putting tile in basement: He put the tile without leveling the surface, he had no idea about this until i told him about his error. He then removed the tile and started laying out.Even after this, most of the tiles are not level. Some of the tiles are still loose and missing grout.3. Sanding the floor and refinishing: Instead of sanding the floor, he warmish my floor with a different color which I did not approve of. I did not realize until the work was finished that he added a new color to the floor. On top of this it smelled so bad, when the next day I came with my 4 month old, he could not stay in the house. I had to shift moving by week.4. On the last day he took complete payment and left while there is a good amount of work left. Workers completed the last work hastily leaving the floor completely uneven and with missing grout. On top of this, he did not clean the mess and left all the trash in my driveway. I had to pay 200$ next day to remove this trash.Property damages - Left cement stain on driveway paver. Requires power wash cleaning (~200$)- Broke laundry sink and clogged the pipe with cement (~400$)- Cleaning basement and other appliances (~250)- Fixed the door removed for tiling (100$)- Replaced damaged carpet on basement stair (~500$)- Fixed hardwood floor to get back to old look (~6000)- Replace tile in basement (~10000)There are other small things I did not discuss here. Happy to discuss more thing if required.----I am looking for three things,1. Get refund for the work and property damages 2. Stop the work of scamming people through fake reviews and company addresses and acting as professional contractor 3. Exploiting immigrants with low wages
