  I reached out to Springer Law Firm in March to assist me with Bankruptcy. In less than 3 weeks I had provided full payment for the attorney and court fees totaling $800. 95% of the time I spoke with ********, the legal assistant and my zoom calls were with her as well. I had 2 very short convos with attorney Springer. I was 1st told that I qualified for chapter 7 and then told that I wasnt. I was told we should wait 3-4 months and revisit chapter 7. I started asking questions about chapter 13 and was told that as long as my finances didnt change, I should be ok filing chapter 7. Despite my finances staying the same, I was told I did not qualify and should NOW file chapter 13. After telling Springer that I would like a full refund because I felt that the company was dishonest and had no intentions of filing chapter 7 for me, he started to insult my character saying things like i thought you were a nice person, and told me I was dishonest about my income. My income was provided in March. Its now June and hes calling me a liar although my paystubs were sent to him every 2 weeks. The math wasnt matching up with his manipulative words and the integrity of this company is very questionable. I am aware that attorneys make more money when filing a chapter 13 and its extremely sad that they take advantage of people who are already in tough positions. After some back and forth he refunded me $500. However, I would like to be refunded the other $300 as I feel that I was taken advantage of.
