I bought the 2014 ***** Equinox on March 21, 2023 and I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle. The car cant drive for a long period of time, it cuts off while on idle and I have already had to have at $1500 worth of work done. I took my vehicle to the ***** of ******** dealership on April 24th and Im still having issues. ***************** from Worth sold me a lemon that was in a total of 3 previous accidents which he didnt mention at all, plus there is a lot to maintenance issues with the vehicle. Worth Auto Finance sold me an unreliable vehicle and have the work order for the repairs as well as the CarFax report that ******** ***** provided ** for making the known repairs at that time.

            Hello,

            RE: 20091388

Enclosed please find the following documents and our side of the story.

******************** came in to our dealership on 3/21/23 and test drove our vehicle. ( 2014 Chevrolet Equinox Vin# ***************** ).

******************** started by reaching out to ** via text regarding getting financed. ( text message can be provided) 03/20/2023 she filled out application and was approved.

Once approved she processed to drive over to dealership on 3/21/2023 to test drive the vehicle mention above. she was happy with vehicle and was told all our vehicle are sold ASIS or with state limited warranty which is required.

******************** loan was ago approved with warranty for 12 months or ****** miles. She was happy and we signed the proper documents needed. If ****************** would have asked ** about Carfax or Auto Check we could have provide one, but she didn't and agree to the deal with Credit Acceptance without any further questions or comments. she called back 03/22/2014 stating the check engine came on and state she doesn't want the vehicle. I ask her to bring it so our shop can look at it. she didn't want us to help or look and the vehicle she was calling ** names and threating with police. she stated **** took the *** to 3 different repair shops but never let ** know what the issue was to fix it for her.

she stopped returning our calls and that was the last we heard from her. Our finance company would haven't financed the vehicle and issued warranty from the date of contract if there was any problem with vehicle. They are run report on the vehicle once we input the vin in their system.

Our dealership has tried to help and reach out with out any luck last recorded conversion was on 03/25/203 until now from the BBB. She has the warranty to  fix her vehicle and 15 days or 500 miles to bring it back, but hasn't done so. The dealership hasn't done anything wrong or threated her in any way or matter like she has on the test message from her to us. We ask to close this case and believe she just has buyer remorse once she got home the deal has been over 60 days since it was contracted. Dealership will not refund any money or fix anything beyond what was required by the law.

            Thank you

            Complaint: 20091388

I am rejecting this response because:
***************************, hasn't been honest about the condition of the vehicle, he didn't disclose the vehicle history neither did he uphold to the 14 powertrain warranty. The :"mechanic" he. took the vehicle to didn't fix anything. I have attached a copy of the vehicle history report that was provided as a courtesy by ****************** after fixing some of the repairs, text messages from me and *********************** as well as the repair bill. Vehicle is still in the shop due to a bad engine which again was not disclosed by ******************. ****************** sells vehicles that are lemons and doesn't deserve to do business anywhere. I will like my down payment back along with reimbursement for the rental I had to keep after purchasing this lemon.
            Sincerely,

            *****************************

            06/12/2023

            Hello,

The Dealer stand by our reasoning. The warrant is effect and can be taken to any shop. I have did everything the state law required from **. The vehicle was bought ASIS and was given warranty from the finance company.  We have done everything we can do for the customer. There is law stating customer can get the money back 3 months after purchase because buyer remorse or change mind.

            Complaint: 20091388

I am rejecting this response because:

There is nowhere in the contract that says the vehicle is sold ASIS. Also he never disclosed the CarFax from day and Ive been asking for my money since the day I purchased the vehicle. As you can see from the proof I submitted he didnt want to help after he supposedly took it to a mechanic to so called fix the issue. This is not over because either Ill get justice legally or someone else he sells a lemon to will handle him a different way. These are not threats these are consequences that comes from selling bogus cars and being considered a fraud. The State of ******** will be there to see him real soon.

            Sincerely,

            *****************************
