Horrible service and disrespectful to customers. This place kept my car over a month with no act of service to my vehicle. They work closely with Right way Auto in *******. I believe both companies are scamming people. They jumped my car without approval and did so incorrectly causing other damages.

*********************** vehicle was towed into our shop. Customer stated vehicle would not start.

When a vehicle is towed into a shop the assumption is that the customer wishes to have it diagnosed.

We inspected her vehicle and found it to have a shorted and incorrect battery. We never jumped the vehicle

We received the customers approval to put in a new correct battery. After doing so we were able to determine that the vehicle had a problem with computer.

At this point we recommended that the customer take her car to a Chevrolet a dealer. At this point the customer became upset and did not want to pay for the new battery - so we offered to remove it and put back in the battery that was in when it was towed in. We charged the customer $139 for what we did and did not charge the customer for the battery or for the initial replacement and then removing and replacing her old battery.

As for Rightway Burbank, they are a customer of ours and we are not affiliated with them in any other way.

We certainly do not scam people and it is unfortunate that this customer feels she needs to damage a family business's reputation built over 25 years.

My 2017 ****** Versa Note was towed to First Auto on October 23, 2023 because my vehicle would not start. I informed them that new spark plugs were installed but the vehicle still would not start. I was notified about a week later, after the arrival of my vehicle to their repair shop, that they would need a mechanic to work on the vehicle for 2 hours, at $280, to properly diagnose the issue with my vehicle. I gave them the approval for the diagnostic and received a call the next day informing me that the spark plugs and ignition coils were bad. I was quoted a price of $886 for the repairs and I agreed to the estimate. The next day I received a call informing me that they found another bad ignition coil and that increased the repair total to $993.05. I was told by Mr. *** that they had to order the parts from ****** and they will complete the repairs when the parts arrived. I informed Mr. *** that I wanted all bad parts that were replaced returned to me. I received a call on 11/3 informing me that the repair was completed and my vehicle was ready for pickup. I arrived around 6:10 pm, paid the bill, and picked up my vehicle. While driving the vehicle home, and less than a mile from the auto repair shop, the vehicle started hesitating like it wanted to stop running. I immediately called the repair shop but they were closed. I called Monday, 11/6, to speak with Mr. *** about the condition of my vehicle and was basically told that they fixed the no start issue and any additional diagnostic would cost me more money. I asked about the return of my "bad" parts and he said that he could not find them. Not only did they not return my parts, but charged me for a thorough diagnostic and returned my vehicle to me not running correctly. I would like a refund for a portion of the bill since I fill the repair and/or diagnostic did not fix my car.
