I can't express enough gratitude for the wonderful experience I had with ************************* and Smithpaws. From the moment I connected with them, it was evident that they were not just breeders, but passionate advocates for the well-being of their puppies. Discovering an AKC breeder who had earned distinction for excellence in breeding was a stroke of luck. It immediately assured me that I was dealing with professionals who held themselves to the highest standards. Knowing that every mom and dad dog had undergone rigorous health screenings gave me peace of mind about the health of my future furry family member. The one-year health guarantee further solidified my confidence in Smithpaws. It showed me that they stood behind their puppies and were committed to their lifelong well-being.Working with ******* was an absolute pleasure. She went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule, even taking the time to Facetime with me and answer all my questions thoroughly. The sweet disposition of my Cavalier, ***** (previously named *****), is a testament to the care and attention he received from day one.Smithpaws didn't just stop at providing a puppy; they provided a wealth of resources and information to ensure that Poppi transitioned seamlessly into his new home. Meeting at a convenient location and time made the entire process smooth and stress-free.I was touched by the thoughtful gesture of providing toys to help ***** acclimate to his new surroundings. Additionally, their recommendation of high-quality foods demonstrated their dedication to protecting the health of their puppies.Even my vet was impressed by the meticulous preparations Smithpaws had taken to ensure *****'s health. It's clear that they go above and beyond in every aspect of their breeding program, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Smithpaws truly sets the standard for excellence in breeding and customer care.

The owner of ***** Paws is NOT a forthright person and any dog you buy from her has a very HIGH risk of carrying parasites. She has a very disgraceful business model!!!We bought 2 CKCS puppies. The info on her website, the paperwork and her FB page didn't all match up so you can't even trust basic info like birthdate. Her daughter (who only accepts cash) delivered the puppies with an illegally dispensed mystery cocktail of what was supposedly prophylactic antibiotics. State and Federal laws require prescriptions to contain a label with the doctor/vet's name, patient's name, date, dose and content. The bottle had no label. I was told that it was doxycycline which is used to treat fungus and viral infections in dogs/cats. 3 veterinarians in ** all stated that this is NOT std practice and advised not to administer the mystery solution. She said the dogs had transitioned to her hard kibble brand but they had not. One dog was significantly smaller than the other and failing to thrive and neither were eating or drinking.Within a few hours I had throwing up, dry heaving and passing of ****** mucous stools.I called the breeder and she said of that sounded like coccidia and a little albon from the vet should clear that up. When I updated her that they both tested positive for both giardia and coccidia she asked if I had given the mystery med which she then confessed to spiking with metronidazole, the treatment for giardia. She refused to update their litter mate's new owners. We had a cavalier for 10 years that passed 2 weeks before getting these pups and never had any parasites, but she said they must have got them from our yard. Even if her 'free' insurance doesn't deny your claim for a pre-existing condition, the emergency vet I had to go to within 48 hours of having the puppies required payment of over $3000 to be put on a credit card for a one night's stay for one dog and you'll still have to pay 10% of thousands in bills. 3 weeks now and they still have diarrhea.

I am a very reasonable person.  I always try to take the best care of all of the puppies prior to them leaving and even after they arrive in your home.  Each puppy is sent home with very specific instructions on new puppy care.  All puppies come with 30 days of free health insurance that must be activated within 24 hours by the new owner.  Each new owner signs a contract specifically stating the terms of the contract and is informed on new puppy care instructions.  Which are written in the information packet included with each puppy. I am always available to help answer your questions and discuss any problem that might arise.  I request any vet records be sent to me should they occur so that I can review and respond appropriately to a situation.  In this particular case I have not received any documentation of any issue with the puppies.

Per our last conversation you were sending the vet records and copies of the insurance denial so that I could review. I am still willing to accept the records and see if there is something I can do. As soon as I receive the documents,  I can hopefully resolve to your satisfaction.

We purchased a male cavalier from a breeder name *******. He is a sweet little guy. Absolutely love him. Such a good boy. ******* was very helpful in letting us know how to transition the puppy into our home. We received a bundle of great information. If we decide to get another puppy we will call Smtihpaws again.

I am so happy with my puppy from SmithPaws! His temperament is perfect and he is so healthy! He is growing, thriving and such a wonderful addition to our family. I could not imagine not having little Buster in our household!Buster was vet checked prior to us purchasing him and very healthy! I have since recommended SmithPaws to a friend and she is picking up her puppy next week. I am grateful for a reputable breeder in my area. Thank you ******* and SmithPaws!

I agree with the previous review from **************, over the phone ******* sounded like a great breeder. I eventually bought a ************************* Cavalier *******************************. I flew into ************ airport on 11/19/2022 and met *******'s daughter at the airport, pickup up the pup, and flew back to AZ. My pup had his first vet visit 11/21/2022 where it was discovered he was full of parasites including giardia, he also had Bordetella. The vet was concerned about the environment he came from. At that point, I was unaware how odd it was for a pup to have so many parasites. ******* said his littermates didn't have anything (no way that was true), and that her vet recently recommended she start using different dewormer - what? It took several rounds of medication, and three months before my pup was down to having "just" giardia. Here we are, four months later, and my poor pup is still battling giardia. I am on my way to the vet for another round of medication after I post this review. The ongoing issues have not only caused my sweet pup pain, and stress, it has impacted our family. We bleach everything he touches every day including his outdoor area, wash all bedding, toys, dog bowls-every day. ******* is highly contagious so we are not able to leave him at a dog sitter since he cannot be around other dogs so one of us has stayed home on three trips, We recently found an in-home sitter at $125/day to care for him so we don't miss out on another trip to see our grandkids next month just in case he still has giardia. We have spent enough on vet bills to purchase a second dog at $2200. ************************* pups under different websites: Krystalpups.com, Smithpaws.com, Chocolatecavaliers.com, Legendarychins.com. She pushes signing up for pet insurance which she must get a kick-back from, and her MLM dog food as well - none of this is okay. I believe ******* needs to clean-up her business model - literally - or stop selling dogs altogether.

I dont my very best to provide each new puppy owner with all the tools needed to keep their puppy healthy. These are live animals and can be susceptible to parasites. Prior to leaving my nursery puppies are not exposed to outside at all. They are kept indoors. So when they go to a new home they are now exposed to a new environment and parasites are in the ground. customers are given instructions on how to take care of the puppy when it goes home. I cannot make them follow the instructions. Once a puppy leaves my care I can no longer be responsible for the environment. I have received no vet information for this puppy. I have received no documentation in regards to this puppy and she is now complaining after she has had the puppy for 5 months. I certainly want to help as the puppy is my primary concern but I cannot fix a problem that I am not aware of nor can I control the environment that the puppy is in. Sometimes I just cannot fix problems and some people are never happy.
