Like others have reported, the purchase occurred online and had a warranty attached to it. The purchase and delivery were fine and well. The honoring of the warranty has been the issue. Our dryer had issues drying for the first couple of days before completely losing any heat and thus capability to dry clothing. Despite messages on Marketplace, voicemails left at the number noted on our receipt, and texts & voicemails on another number that was given to us by the delivery person, there have been no returned calls or messages to coordinate helping us fix the non-functional machine. We'd be fine with a refund so that we could pay for repairs not being out of pocket, a return, an exchange, or a servicing of the appliance, but none of these have been possible to even ask for as a result of the non existent customer support.Initial Complaint

I was wanting a washer and dryer set I found one on market place with a 45 day warranty . Message the seller about a specific set the seller messaged back saying that he had the set. I waited until two days later and messaged him back which he said the set was sold but has another that was available with the same 45 day warranty and sent me a picture of the set. I told the seller I would take it for $500. The seller had advised me that it would be a $60 delivery fee. The set was delivered by two kind of shisty men in a pickup truck (in my opinion.) They hooked up the set I mad sure both washer and dryer worked. The men wrote me out a receipt with the name Carrolls and a phone number on it. I asked was this the business that they represent and the phone number to call if I had a problem. They answered yes. Two weeks later the washer started to leak water. I called the number on the receipt to my surprise the number was not a working number. I went back to my messages on messenger and the seller was on vacation mode. I called the guy who delivered it and no answer. So I started doing a little investigation myself and found many complaints on Carrolls. I have not given up yet even though it has been over ************************************** fix the problem.Initial Complaint

I was looking for a new washer and dryer set on line and on ******** Marketplace for a month or so. I finally decided to go with a ******* set because it was like the set that I'd seen before and I wanted. It was $350 with a 45-day warranty. I told him I wanted it. I also paid $50 to have it delivered and set up (which they did without a house on the dryer or even tellingme there wasn't one) on Thursday, the 9th. When I told him I wanted to buy the set, he said okay. The next day he messaged me, saying when he got to work, the set had been sold. He said he had a nicer set that he normally would ask $400 to $450 for, but he would give it to me for the same price and with the 45-day warranty, I said sold. I did a load of bed clothes and stuff, because we just moved. My son did two loads of clothes. I did one more load of bed clothes late Saturday evening and that load never spun out. I messaged him on ******** and let him know. The next day he responded and said that his "technician" would come look at it. (Keep in mind, the whole time I'm trying to do business ***** him, it takes forever to get a response.) He asked me if it was throwing a code, I said no. He said the guy could come out and look at it the next day. He said he'd be free anytime after 11am. I asked how late he did calls, he said he usually worked to 7pm. I said well, I'll just plan to be there at noon, if that's okay. (Incase there was any "issues", it wouldn't be so late that there wasn't time to fix it. I NEEDED A WASHER AND DRYER.) .. no response... I tried a couple of times to reach him the next morning, with no luck. Finally, that afternoon, I messaged him letting him know I'd just called the # he (or, whoever) wrote on my receipt to try and schedule a time to have them come look at it and one minute later he responded. Now he said, this guy has "a bunch to do" that afternoon could he come around 5 or 6? I said yes. At about 6:20 pm I messaged him to let him know I hadn't heard from or seen anyone. He said, "they should be calling any minute. " He never responded to me again until about 11:20am the next morning. That was after I'd messaged him telling him how unprofessional he was and that I STILL had a load in my washer that hadn't been spun out yet. Later, I'd also left a message, on that # on the receipt, telling him that I just wanted a refund to come and get the set. I told him, this was ridiculous and I'm a single parent and that I don't have time to play games, and I don't have money to just give away. My son plays in 2 sports and that intales a lot of laundry. When he finally messaged me back he said, "Just going to refund you. Some reason my tech is way to backed up and causing me issues so we will issue a refund and pick up set. I'll look at my schedule and let me know your schedule." That was at 11:22am on May 9th. I haven't heard a word from him since. I informed fb and they can't help. Now I'm blocked. This is all I have... This phone# : **********... and this phone#: **********, of the 2 men who delivered it. (Who have been of no help to me.)Initial Complaint

Bought an Electrolux washer and Dryer set from this business and paid $450.00 plus $50.00 for delivery, which has a 45 day warranty. On the second day, the dryer started making loud cracking noises, and the washer was super loud. I sent **** a message - no response, called the shop number - no answer, messaged the delivery guys number - no response. On the third day, the seal of the washer broke and a large spring is sticking out. I called again, no answer, called again - no answer so I left a voicemail. Sent pictures to *********************, and he sent me a message stating he was sorry and would get his tech out. No one has called, replied or even showed up. I missed work so this tech could come out.. instead of replying, calling, or messaging me back, *********************** decides to block me. This is scammy and very bad business. They need to come get these and give me my money back ..Customer response

I wanted to buy a used Whirlpool Washer and Dryer for $200.00 I saw on ******** Marketplace. It was to be delivered on Saturday January 13 after 1:00. Nobody showed up. When I was contacted and asked if I had received delivery of the two appliances I said no, and it was rescheduled for Monday January 15 at 5:30. After 6:45 there were two "delivery men" who showed up and hooked up the units, however they brought Kenmore brand and not the Whirlpool I had seen on ******** and wanted. When I messaged the seller I was told that the Whirlpool set had too many issues and so they junked them and brought these. I asked why they didn't notify me and received no further response. We paid an additional $40 to have them pick up our old set and remove. They instructed us to wait until the unit had warmed up since they were kept someplace very cold, and otherwise it could damage the motor. We waited until January 18 when the high was 30 degrees to try to run a load. The washer does not work. I reached out right on messenger right away since there is supposed to be a 45 day warranty. I also called the delivery men's telephone number twice and have not heard back. We paid $240 for nothing and I want to lodge a complaint! I want them to 1) contact me and 2) replace or fix the broken washer with one that works! Failing to do that? I'd like to receive the $100.00 back for the washer and they need to pick it up.
