I went in for an interview everything went well I showed up for my orientation everything went good the first day no problems I went in the second day everything seem to be going fine until I was told that were going to be going down to the floor taking a tour of the entire plant and I was told I need to put steel toe covers around my shoes now I refuse this because I was wearing all white fabric shoes and theyre not cheap I was told I have no other choice its put them on or take a point at this point I hadnt even started the job yet I was still in orientation she began to explain How I should know that I shouldve needed steel toes because The information was provided in the packet I was given during my interview process however nowhere in the packet does it say that I will need to bring my steel toed shoes during my orientation process it only says I will need them once I start the job and on the floor, I was told to wear comfy clothes because I would be sitting in a classroom during my orientation never was anybody informed they would need to bring their steel toes or put steel toe covers over their shoes, I even changed into different pants for them because I wasnt wearing jeans the only thing I would not do was put steel toe covers over my brand new shoes because they were white fabric obviously I didnt want them to get ruined I was then told to leave because I argued what she was saying because I knew what she said wasnt true she was simply trying to manipulate me to get me to do what she wanted she then proceeded to ask me to leave she said it was because of my attitude and that I was cursing however during my orientation and interview process all the staff including the members that were being orientated and interviewed were also cussing up a storm while I only cussed twice total in the amount of time that Ive been at the facility I spent my time and money gathering everything I would need for this job I was ready to go.
