6/2024: Our neighbor told us they will be putting in a pool in their backyard. We ask if we could have extra dirt that will be removed from their pool project, they said yes and shared contact information to discuss and get permission from pool company (Forrester and Sons). We initiated contact with **** (owner) to see if this was possible through a phone call dated 6/25/24. **** said he would be willing to drop off the dirt, no communication of payment or contract discussed at this time. 7/4/2024: Forrester and Sons begin dropping off dirt in our backyard beginning at 7am until 11am. There is no communication about payment at this time.8/19/2024: Bill in the mail received for $900, invoice stating skid loader work. Taking dirt from pool dig to back yard to fill ditch. 7-4 (document included)We contacted Forrester and Sons via text message (screenshots included) to discuss the invoice and was given a different explanation for the charge than what was written on the invoice. Forrester and Sons said the charge was for dirt the neighbors pool project needed at the end of their project. Because it was not our error that Forrester and Sons did not keep enough dirt to finish their project at the neighbors pool project, we did not believe this was a fair charge; as we had asked for the extra they were willing to drop off. To attempt to resolve this issue, a payment of $450 was offered. (~$112/hr of work for 4 hours). Forrester and Sons declined our offer and began dialogue that was disrespectful and unproductive so text messaging with him ceased. 10/25/2024: Another bill was sent to our residence of the same amount and same invoice details. 10/29/2024: A phone conversation began with ***** (point of contact listed on the bill) to discuss situation. She stated it was something we needed to discuss with **** and would have him ******* of 11/1/24 no calls from ****.
