    I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT ACKNOWLEDGING  HIS EMAIL IN REGARDS TO THE STRING BREAKING ON HIS BLIND.  IT WAS OVERLOOKED DUE TO THE  FACT THAT I HAD RECEIVED 6 EMAILS PRIOR FROM *************, AND DID NOT REALIZE THAT HE HAD SENT MORE.  HIS PRIOR EMAILS WERE  WANTING TO CHANGE THE ***** OF THE BLIND THAT HE HAD ALREADY ORDERED, AS WELL WANTING TO KNOW WHEN IT WOULD BE DONE.  THE REQUEST FOR WANTING TO KNOW WHEN IT WOULD BE DONE CAME JUST 8 DAYS AFTER HE HAD PLACED THE ****** WHEN IT STATED THAT IT WOULD REQUIRE 8-12 WEEKS FOR THE BLIND TO BE MADE.  YOU CANNOT PLACE AN ORDER WITHOUT CHECKING THE *** THAT YOU AGREE TO THE LEAD TIME. 

    THUS, IN RESOLVING THIS ISSUE, I HAVE ISSUED FULL CREDIT TO HIS CREDIT CARD AS I TRULY FEEL THAT I CANNOT PLEASE HIM.  HE IS WELCOME TO KEEP THE BLIND.  IN TRUTH, OF THE 1000S OF BLINDS THAT WE HAVE SOLD TO CUSTOMERS, THIS MAY BE ONLY THE SECOND BLIND THAT HAS EVER HAD A STRING THAT HAS "BROKEN".   I HOPE THAT THIS RESOLVES THE ISSUE.

    Their facts are a bit distorted but why wouldnt they be defensive after ignoring my phone messages and 3 emails for months.

    I ordered a blind for my RV from this company. Once I checked out, I got a message that the item would be at least 6 - 10 weeks in arriving, so I immediately contacted the company - both via their contact form and order portal AND via email - to cancel the item. They did not respond to my request and eventually the item arrived. I then contacted them and followed their return procedure, mailed the item at my own expense, and expected a refund. Now they continue to send me messages saying they don't know what I intend, and this was a custom order so it cannot be refunded, etc. Each time I respond, I get another run around. Looking at the number of complaints against this company, it is obvious that they do not conduct an honest business and are attempting to cheat me as they have many others.

    We have no record of order messages (as seen in attached screenshot), emails, or voicemails regarding this order/customer. 

    The product page clearly states the lead time and cancellation policy (as seen in attached screenshot) and customers are NOT able to add this product to the shopping cart without agreeing to the terms first. There is no message about lead time sent out after an order is placed. 

    In addition, this customer did not follow our return policy. As stated on our returns an cancellations page (also in attached screenshot): "Before returning an item you must contact customer service at ************ to obtain a return approval (RMA number). If you ship an item back to us without contacting us first, we will have to refuse the package & it will be returned to you."

     I am rejecting this response because:

    This business claims I made no contact with them; yet I have their confirmation of my return request received on April 27th.  It's clear that their claim is patently false - something from online reviews that they do quite often.  I still expect a refund from them; and am willing to pursue their illegal and unethical behavior in court and / or with a complaint to the ******* ************************* if necessary.

    It's quite bold to actually respond to a complaint like this with clear lies.

    I have requested proof of the correspondences that the customer claims he made to be emailed to me @ *************************** and he has failed to do so. The only correspondence we have record of is AFTER we contacted him questioning the return. We have lied about nothing. We have a very detailed and specific special order and cancellation policy as previously proven.

     I am rejecting this response because: As many others have indicated, this business is not ethical and has no intention of providing proper customer service.  I will be contacting the ******* ************************* and making a legal complaint against them.

    On October 1 2022, we purchased two Day/Night Shades totaling $290.96 and as of today October 10, 2022 the status is still showing Awaiting shipment with no other information. I have emailed and called and no response. The voicemail states that they are no longer taking or checking voicemails, but no one is answering the phone. I would like for someone to email me or call with an update or if there is an problem then refund me my money back.

    WHEN YOU PLACE AN ORDER FOR DAY NIGHT SHADES ON OUR WEBSITE, YOU MUST CLICK A BOX THAT STATES YOU ACCEPT THE FACT THAT THERE IS A LEAD TIME FOR THIS SPECIAL ORDER.   IF YOU DO NOT CLICK THAT BOX, THE ORDER WILL NOT PROCESS.  I WILL CHECK ON THE BLINDS, BUT IT ALMOST TOO EARLY TO EVEN GET AN ETA ON THIS ORDER THAT HAS JUST BEEN PLACED.

(Holidays may extend these times slightly) All custom ordered items will be charged a 75% fee if the item is cancelled prior to delivery. We are unable to make size or color changes once the order has been submitted.

     Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the order. No need to canceled or refund.
