    I woke up on the morning of Monday January 8th in my hotel bed with my cheek throbbing and stinging like I got bit by something. Also very tender and whole upper right cheek bone swollen. Looked like a bug bite. The hole was getting larger. Their was no in grown hair or pimple. This was a bug bite pain. Inspecting the room I found cob webs under everything and larvae eggs which I attached the picture of under the couch. My face has only gotten worse and more swollen. It's very tender to the touch and has me sick feeling. The receptionist contacted the owner ***** and sent him a picture of my face reassuring me that he said he would get back to me. I still haven't heard anything from him leaning on 24 hours now. I want more than a refund back and I want an apology. I feel embarrassed and humiliated for the way I look on top of the pain that won't go away. The hotel has signs of bugs all inside it. Never did I think I would leave somewhere I stayed for vacation that I'd wake up disfigured and physically sick from whatever bit me. I am so upset that I have cried over this crap! I'm so Mad!

    I apologize for the inconvenience and bad experience you had during your stay with us at Clarion inn & Suites Evansville East. I also apologize for not reach out in timely manner. Due to missing information i was not able to respond you on time. Please provide me more detail about your reservation either reservation number or name on your booking as i was unable to find reservation on name ***** ******.

    I do want to mention we take guest safety and cleanliness seriously. To ensure that we have partnered with local pest control company with K9 unit for effectively capture Bed bugs and similar threats in our rooms. Pest control do inspect and treat our rooms regular basis every month. We are also confident that all of our rooms are bug free. We suspect picture in the attachment would be small derbies of room cleaning material we use on daily basis. Also, we are surrounded by empty grass land that may have mosquitos during certain season that guest may have encountered.

    I do want to offer guest Choice loyalty points for the inconvenience he had during the visit. To fulfill that, i would be needing more details about the reservation. please respond back with reservation number or full name on the reservation.

    Choice is not honoring their promotion stay twice and get a 50$ gift card or 5000 points. June 14th-15th was my first stay. June 16th - 17th I was not at a choice hotel, this is the 24/hr gap necessary. June 17th to the 18th Would have been the next qualifying stay. Or the day after. I was told they are currently getting rid of or cleaning house, if undesirables. I assume they mean African American people cause that’s directly what I overheard and was told, concerning an African American male they refused to rent a room to in from of me a week or two back. Apparently as people of Indian descent are encouraged to visit the hotel whites and blacks not so much. Is this the reason I cannot get my 5000 points for my two qualifying stays. Or is it because I’m in LBGTQ+? Just curious what their stance is, and why a diamond member is being treated this way. Currently on the phone with lovi it is 9:47am central standard time june25th I’ve been hold 5 times time totally 3 hours plus of my time, still being given issues? Why can I not get my 5000 points. When I meet the qualifying terms and conditions.

    Checked into the Clarion Hotel in Evansville, Indiana on 4-10-2023. Room #***, reservation number #*********. Noticed some notes all over my body. They we're bedbug bites. My husband on 4-16-2023 actually captured the bedbug, bagged it and took the specimen to the manager. They changed our room to #143 after that. Our reservation number was #********* for room #***. My bedbug bites became massively inflamed and we're leaking and painful. I contacted the corporate office for, Choice hotels. Spoke with them about a refund for the stay, due to the attack by the parasite.. They would not reimburse, or offer any medical treatment due to the bites. For the two reservation numbers that have been provided, Clarion hotels has the receipts for the stays.

    This is ***, looking over guest relation at Clarion inn & suites Evansville east. We investigated the situation and concluded following.

    Hotel is very committed to guest health, safety and satisfaction. We don't have control over guest bringing bugs with them as it might impact next person who will be using the room. We do ensure following our cleaning protocol to ensure guest safety and satisfaction. However, as additional safety measure we now have partnered with local pest control who has capability to check room with K9 unit for accurately identify and treat effected rooms on regular basis. 

    We want to send our apologies to ******** for inconvenience they had during their visit to our hotel. To resolve issue we will be issuing full refund to the guest as per the payment format guest used. Based on guest bank's processing time fund may appear back to guest account within 5 to 8 business days.

    There were bugs found in the room. I have enclosed pictures of food we brought back to the room and within an hour it was covered with bugs. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work. Breakfast was disgusting. Stale bagels, watered down "gravy", stopped making breakfast an hour before stated time. Eggs took almost 40 minutes to make and they were inedible. But the last one is just unsanitary and absolutely gross, I have enclosed a picture of what appears to be period stains on the comforter. I am requesting a FULL REFUND! I was told repeatedly I would get one and it still hadn't happened.
