On September, 13 2024. We took our truck to get a left spring leaf replaced at the shop in Vomac **** ** ******** *** ***** ******** *****. We were charged $595.23 for the part & $1,037.61 for Labor thinking it would be a professional outcome but Vomac allowed an unqualified or untrained mechanic to complete the work. He replaced the incorrect part by taking apart the right instead of the left leaf spring that caused a delay of 8 hours on the repair which they ended up charging me for anyway totally an unexpected charge. Not only did they overcharge me for the unprofessional labor. They discriminated my driver due to the color of his skin, the way he spoke english and appearance the mechanic was rude/unhelpful towards my driver customer concerns. The improper installation of the left leaf spring by Vomac unprofessional mechanic caused us a big damage on the road we had to pay $1,400 in parts, road service and labor just for a temporary fix plus $470.80 to replace U-joint. The truck was loaded with 45,000 LBS the improper installation by the mechanic at Vomac could have caused a devastating accident. Ive been in contact with the manager ***** at Vomac but he is just as unprofessional as the mechanics he supervises. ***** has not tried to solve or help with the case he just ignores my calls, messages and emails. His behavior confirms that the mechanics harmful repairs were intentional. Vomac's employees don't even care to apologize for their wrong doings they are so arrogant and closed minded they acted like they were doing me a favor instead of doing the job they were paid to do. I would like for this complaint to go towards their record/reviews no customer should experience such an unprofessional treatment from an unfair company like Vomac. The damages they caused my trucking company were getting a violation from the DOT Weightstation, Bad Reputation with the freight broker for late delivery, unnecessary expenses and emotional stress.
