  I paid for this years irrigation services and they haven't done anything. I haven't been able to get him to return my calls. I requested a ($230) refund but to no avail. I think he may have gone out of business.

  This client has been a customer since May 30, ****, when we installed his system. Since that time, we have turned on and off the system every year without issue or complaint (22 years). This year we went to his house to turn on the system it was discovered that another contractor he had hired for other work had done significant damage to his sprinkler system. We provided a quote for repairs but due to already schedule work could not get to his work in an acceptable time frame. Our contract to turn on and off makes not guarantees that we will take on additional work. This customer is not entitled to a refunded as we turned on his system as required but had to turn it off due to the damages. His damages should not be an expense to us. Secondly the fall shutdown time has not even arrived yet so there can be no complaint about us not doing that as it is not time to do that yet. While I am sorry that we could not be available to make his repairs we are not in any way responsible for any loss he has incurred. Finally, I've attached a copy of the service contract which clearly states that he can cancel only if he moves and obviously if we breech the contract. He is still on our shutdown schedule which he can cancel but without refund.
